Heyyy all of you HRSTeamers!!! Happy Friday! And Happy November!! I still can’t believe it’s already NOVEMBER! Holy heck 😅 Anyway, we are already gearing up for another fantastic team season on the hill, and we hope that your little racer will be back for another session!! Thanks very much for your patience as we have tried to organize and coordinate a Dryland plan.. we will begin dryland training on Tuesday, November 6th @ 6:30 pm. We will convene at the Black Ball Ferry terminal on Railroad Ave. The Coho peeps have been gracious enough to provide their space to use as a meeting spot, and for warm up and cool down.. We will pre-season train every Tuesday evening at that time and place. We hope to get about six weeks in before the holidays hit! We really are excited for the upcoming season and hope to have you join us! In addition to Dryland, we are also scouting a handful of away ski and snowboard races/competitions. If you and your family are interested in learning more about some team travel opps, please let me know at your earliest convenience.. more deets to follow... thanks again and hope to see you Tuesday night! ❄️❄️❄️
Today was a super fabulous day at the Ridge!! Sunshine, freshies ❄️ And almost all of our crew!! Thank you ALL for helping us bring back a solid HRST and for making the season a huge success!! Please join us for a great night with Hurricane Ridge Historian and all around good guy, Roger Oakes. Learn what it has taken to keep skiing and snowboarding alive at the Ridge for these past 60 years. Hear about the rocky start to the 1958 season and hear stories of perseverance, and about the dedicated individuals and innovation that has led to this success story.
And be ready to share YOUR stories and memories! ❄️
Good morning teamers!!
It sounds like today will be a good one - We’ve got cool temps and some snow flurries early and late in the day predicted. Can’t wait to get up there!
Our dual races will start at 1 pm.
*Please Note: Today’s sesh will be in place of tomorrow’s regularly scheduled training.
Hope to see you soon! 🙌🏻❄️

The Hurricane Ridge Winter Sports Education Foundation is kicking off the 2018 2nd Saturday Series with a screening of the documentary Lifted: A Ski Film for the Rest of Us. Lifted is a wintertime love story exploring the universal attraction between skier, boarder and mountain. From first chair to Flamingo Days, from deep powder to epic corduroy, Lifted celebrates athletes and amateurs of all shapes and styles. Have craft mountains become endangered or are hometown hills an eternal source of stoke and adventure for generations to come? Pull out the long underwear and grab a beer and/or a glass of wine as we follow one community’s quest to get Lifted.
Screening will be Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 7pm at Wine of the Waterfront in downtown Port Angeles. Suggested fee of $10. Mountain Khaki cozies to the first twenty attendees.
All proceeds go to support the Hurricane Ridge Winter Sports Education Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3.

Good morning HRSTeamers!! Just a reminder that this week’s Dryland Training is tonight, 6-7 pm at the Landing Mall. We may do some indoor circuit training to offset time (and rain 💦) outside! Also, for those interested, we are having a cut and paste party TONIGHT prepping decor and other items for this weekend’s Winterfest fundraiser! If your racer is interested in helping out, that is at 7 pm at Pro Active Chiropractic. {This is NOT a team requirement, simply a Ridge related support activity 😉} Hope to see your kiddos this eve! Coaches Fox 🦊 ❄️
Heyyy all of you teamers!! And those of you that are interested! If you’re gonna ride the rails, you gotta keep your legs strong!! We’ll be outside, so dress accordingly and reflective 😉 We’ll also have team registration forms on hand, as well as team and area information. Ski you there! 😊🙌🏻❄️⛷🏂
