It’s been a little while since I’ve introduced myself 😊 & that’s W***y- one of my 3 Nigerian dwarf goats 😍
In case you didn’t know, I had been wanting goats for YEARS. My dream finally came true in May when I brought my boys home 🥹
We also have a flock of 15 hens 🐥
2 chocolate labs. 1 chihuahua & 1 cat 🐾
‘We’ is me & my husband Kyle. In October, we will be married for 5 years🥰

I’ve been making candles since 2021. I am so passionate about candle making & teaching people the difference between a candle from a big box store versus a hand poured soy candle made by me.
My candles are made with 100% soy wax. I use cotton wicks & phthalate free fragrance oils.
Most candles you can get from big box stores are made with paraffins and have metals in the wicks. Not the best for you to be burning and breathing in 🫣
With my candles, you can trust they will burn clean and smell absolutely amazing 🤩

In 2022, I brought a she-shed with a vision to convert it into a store to sell my candles. I’ve nicknamed the store ‘Farm Girl Finds’
When you stop in to shop, you will find my candles & wax melts but also other goods made by amazing local small businesses.
The shop is open a few Saturdays per month. You can also find me at local craft fairs and events. I always post my schedule & where you can find me on my social media accounts ☺️

I also have an online website. You can shop my products 24/7 & if you are local, I offer porch pick up. But I can also ship to anywhere in the US! Hello everyone! I’ve had a few questions as to how the name came about. I live in an area of Cecil County MD that in the past was called Battle Swamp. It is located south of Rising Sun and West Nottingham, and northeast of Port Deposit. It is seen on Martenet’s Map of Cecil County 1858, but no longer on modern maps. Hello Everyone! Welcome to the new page for Battle Swamp Bread Company! I am a working Mom and Wife and have turned my bread baking hobby in to a local business to serve my community. I will be selling homemade artisan breads at local Farmer's Markets and to the local community. My first Farmers Market is with Cecil County Farmers' and Crafters' Market on May 4th, 2024.
