www.sailsurprise.com Surprise is a high performance custom-built sailing catamaran. She was designed by Chris White to be both fast and comfortable. She was built in Texas in 1995 and has only one sistership. She was extensively refitted in 2010 and is in superb condition.

"We ate fresh Mahi, Lobster and Conch all caught by the Captain over the two days before our arrival. Each was exquisitely prepared and presented, and Surprise's conch fritters are the best in the Islands - period! The seafood was extraordinary and the week's menu outstanding. Our time on Surprise was fabulous in all respects.

with ox and wagon to St Joe, then the No. Platte to Independence Rock.
Don't forget to sign your name and date so those behind will know you passed.
Hurricane's coming and Surprise is in an exposed anchorage with a 3-mile fetch across Long Island Sound. We'll be looking for a Hurricane hole either in the Norwalk Islands or north shore of Long Island to move to shortly. We'll ride out the storm aboard the boat in case her anchors drag. Let's hope its a glancing blow!
