Spotlight on . . . P-Town Short & Sweet Playwright . . .
Miriam Feder!
You may remember Miriam's creative shorts from Fertile Grounds past. Last year, "We're Just Stuffed" brought the house down when two bickering stuffed animals -- a dog and a cat -- let their animal nature (and a hairball) get in the way of giving good dating advice.
This year's Short & Sweet features Miriam's beguiling "A New Woman." The new girl at work doesn't say much, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have a lot on her mind. See if you can untangle the mystery before play's end!
Miriam Feder writes with P-Town Playwrights and PDX Playwrights in Portland. Her short play "Colder Than Ice" was recently chosen for inclusion in Climate Change Theatre Action at ART. She produces PDX Playwrights’ Fertile Ground, including P-Town Playwrights' Short & Sweet. Miriam produced her full-length play "Ephemory" in 2012 and an original musical in 2010. She has also written musicals for student production as an artist-in-residence in schools. .
