Here are progress shots of a playful yet cozy living room.
Swipe to see how it looked when we moved in!
DIY beginners always like it easy yet impactful, amirite? 😁
Here are paint techniques that worked for me:
• Color blocking
• Painting the ceiling
• Mural
Save this for your next project!
It’s been rainy in Maine which got me missing Miami a little bit more. ✨ Our rented fully furnished studio with the most vacation-y wallpaper! She is yelling VIBES ALL DAY 🌊
On this corner of the internet…
You will learn beginner DIY projects that mostly involve colorful paint and thrift shopping.
The budget is always low to none not because you don’t love your home but because of the burst of feeling when you don’t splurge on decor and still make your space beautiful.
You get distracted by new inspo and neglect the last 5% of your current project.
You can be yourself, make mistakes, and have so much fun all at the same time!
On this corner of the internet… you can be you. 😊

Yet another “OMG, paint does wonders!” post 😜
Haven’t even changed the light fixture in here. Look how different it is already!!! What do you think?!
Walls: Chantilly Lace
Bed: Muslin
Cooler weather means cozy days ahead, and I’m not complaining. 😌
Reposting this because I realized that I have not painted in so long 😫
Any hobbies you've been dying to do but couldn't? (Also because I make tons of excuses lol)
Material is cork board, thrifted and paint used is acrylic.
Happy 1st of July! Summer is in full swing here in Maine which means work has been hectic, and I’m missing my favorite vintage shop!
I’m sure a lot has changed since my last visit, so I’m posting these pics to remember why I’ve fallen in love with the place!
What is your favorite vignette— 1, 2, 3, or 4?
I vote 3! 🤩
A mix of original art and favorite photos— it’s quirky, it’s fun, it’s colorful, IT’S OUR GALLERY WALL! 🥳

Gushing over this post from our friends at Rust-Oleum ❤️ This was SUPER EASY— Trust me, YOU can do it! It can also be renter-friendly! 😳
“Purpose fuels passion” ✨
You know you got this. And while you’re at it, don’t forget to slow down and take care of yourself too.
Have a nice Sunday! ☀️
Say hello to one half of the gallery wall!
I used the picture hanger that came with my gift and Command Strips for the thrifted frames (which I could have easily edited out, but we’re trying to keep it real around here right?)
The square art (20x20) is original, a digital print of
B&W photos (11x14) are some of my favorites— Chicago and Miami.
On a gallery wall, do you prefer many small prints or less but bigger ones?
I obviously picked the latter. Curious to know your answer! Comment below!
Loving minimal, botanical, airy, and fresh prints?

You all are the best. 🥹
A friendly reminder that you don’t have to get it all together.
I hope you are able to do what you need in these confusing and frustrating times.
Hello, old friend! I’m still here!!! I’ve been trying to stay up to date everywhere but it seems like Instagram has been my comfort zone these days. Why is it so hard to maintain multiple social media platforms? It’s taking away the fun of creating haha 🥴
How have you been doing?!
Seriously wondering if anyone else still owns *that* floor lamp every home/DIY account said to throw away?! 😅
It’s mostly sold at big box stores. I got mine from when I was still a seasonal worker. It’s been with me through my travels and the ups and downs of my immigration journey, ~2018.
It reminds me of my humble beginnings in America. There was no FB marketplace then, and I didn’t know anything about thrifting yet. It was all I could afford.
I love how I could disassemble it and shove it in my car in time for our next destination. Imagine four of these, huge suitcases, and air mattresses in a Ford Focus. 🤣
It’s not the most aesthetic lamp out there, but it holds stories I will cherish forever!
YOUR TURN! Tell me a story about one piece of decor or furniture you hold dearly👇🏽
🌱 PLANT PARENTS, listen up! 📢
I went to two stores the other day and saw the cutest plant pots. I think the best part was that and were having a big SALE— 50% and 20% off!
Since I’m leaning towards color lately, the first few photos really caught my eye. The second half would be the more classic, neutral me.
Where do you shop for planters??? Tell a sister below! 😉
Emphasis on BEGINNER 😉

Have I shared these before?
I could NOT believe these rooms have evolved so much since we moved in!

No home is perfect. 🏡
In my case, sunlight is always invited, but she never shows up. Haha!
So here are shots of when she decides to visit my house. 🥲
