Thank you for this wild, deep and moving journey ✈️ to meet uncles and aunts in Korea 🇰🇷 for the 1️⃣st time. As many of you know, I am a Korean adoptee looking for my DNA 🧬 mother. My story 📖 started to unfold 🗂️over this past year starting with Mother’s 💐 Day 2022. A 2nd cousin reached ☎️ out to me through @23andme 🧬. The family was so warm and welcoming 💗. I met these previously unknown cousins in the fall 🍂. 7️⃣ of them and my sister, flew ✈️ into little Oregon and we went to Multnomah Falls 🌊, ate at @gigiscafepdx 🧇 (thank you Charlene for opening your place 🧑🏼‍🍳 to just us), and shared life. They had family 🫶 in Korea test 🧬 and I matched with UNCLES. I went from 👌🏼 DNA 🧬 relatives to many 😮💕.In spring 💮, our entire immediate adopted family and family in 💗, 1️⃣7️⃣ of us, flew ✈️ to 🇰🇷 Korea and met the DNA 🧬 family. It was the kindest, sweetest reunion. I am deeply touched, grateful and awed that they wanted to meet my loving and wonderful adoptive family. I greatly missed my mom and dad, who would have embraced this special moment with their 💞 and 🙌🏼s. The DNA uncles are looking for their sister and I am looking for my biological mother.
