We have an amazing community and are thankful for the partnership our Alumni Association has on this project. Are you able to help reach the goal? Share this post and let's get the word out, the more people this message reaches the easier it will be to raise these funds.
Friends, we have a big ask ahead of the holidays and need your help with both donations and getting the word out.
The Alumni Association is collaborating closely with the school’s Social Work Team to support families in need during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Holidays are an important part of childhood, and when kids are less stressed about missing these milestones at home, they do better in school.
Between 100 - 150 families are in need of food to have a Thanksgiving meal. Some food boxes have been secured through local programs, but more will need to be put together by us, funded by our alumni donations. We will also be working on a larger project to support families during the December holidays as well.
In order to support these projects we are in need of $5,000. This is a big number, but with our incredible community we know we can make it happen.
Are you in a position to donate? Do you have a classmate or business associate you think would be moved by this project? We would appreciate any support you are able to give, whether it is through funds or helping us reach other alumni who may be able to help.
Donations can be made via check or online via PayPal, with all details listed on our website here: rooseveltalumni.org/donate

Hola Riders,

Principal’s Message
Hi Riders,
It’s hard to believe the first quarter is almost over! This week and next week are both four day weeks. No school for students on Friday 11/1 or Monday 11/4. On Wednesday, October 30th we will have extended flex for most classes. Teachers will stay until 4:30 to help students who need to finish up before the end of the quarter. If your student is failing a class, and there is extended flex for that class - we urge you to remind your student about this opportunity. A list of extended flex classes and locations is listed below.
