I love how I gave everyone the definition of Voidpunk and some vague ideas and we all came up with our own ideas of how to manifest voidpunk into our outfits.

"The darkest nights mean you see the stars the most."

"Voidpunk is a subculture for those who often feel rejected or disconnected from humanity. This is popular within aromantic spectrum and asexual spectrum communities but also includes groups such as neurodivergent individuals, disabled individuals, non-binary individuals, individuals of color, and other groups that are frequently dehumanized or called "subhuman" by society. Voidpunk is based on embracing the idea of being "not human". While some individuals within these marginalized groups seek to prove their humanity to their oppressors, voidpunk instead recognizes that these oppressors are bigoted and taunts them by saying "Maybe I am not human up to society's standards. The subculture has existed for years, but as near as I can tell, no one has done a fashion shoot inspired by

It's truly an honor to bring this aesthetic to life. I gave my co-models and , and our photography team and the freedom to manifest this concept however they saw fit, and I think the sheer variety of what we put together illustrates the subculture perfectly.

For all the enthusiasm I had for this shoot, I had trouble settling on just ONE outfit idea. And then I was like, "why not play the Void herself?"
