This yoga video is a 20-minute wrist-free hands-free yoga flow for balance and lower body strength. In this standing yoga flow, we start and end in Mountain Pose. There are no seated or supine poses. We explore variations of chair pose, lunges, and other movements to improve balance and concentration. The standing flow helps to work the lower body and increase strength and stability. This is a great practice to do when you need to avoid putting weight on the upper body but still want a strong yoga flow class.

7 months ago, I shared some news with you about my health. Back then, we weren't sure what I was dealing with. Here's my update about the current condition of my shoulders. I've been struggling with Bilateral Adhesive Capsulitis (frozen shoulder on both sides) for almost a year now. It's been tough!

Hello yogis! New video today: 25 Min Standing Vinyasa Yoga Basics | Beginners Yoga Flow

This yoga video is a 25 Minute Standing Vinyasa Flow Yoga Basics class for beginners and intermediate yogis. We'll flow through the most common standing yoga poses you'll find in a vinyasa class. We'll break down the vinyasa transition sequence - proper form for your downward dog, plank, chaturanga pushup, and cobra This will give you the confidence to practice in the vinyasa style in the future. For intermediate yogis, this is a useful refresher. It's always good to review proper alignment in the postures. You may also use this practice on days when you want a more gentle flow.

Practice time is around 23 minutes. This is a standing flow - no seated or supine poses. We start and end in mountain pose. I will show options and modifications so you can choose the intensity level that's right for you.

25 MIN BEDTIME YOGA STRETCH TO RELAX & WIND DOWN

This is a gentle bedtime yoga stretch routine to help you sleep well. This is great for winding down and relaxing at the end of the day. We do all seated and supine poses (some kneeling, no standing) to move and stretch the entire body. At the end of class is open-ended Savasana. I guide you through the final relaxation and leave you with around 2 minutes of Savasana music. We do not close the class together so you may stay in Savasana as long as you like.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK: 60-Minute Intermediate Vinyasa Yoga ✨ King Pigeon Peak Pose (Full Body Yoga Flow)

Hello yogis! Have you tried this yet? This video just reached 100k views on YouTube! This is one of my personal favorites because I love backbends and hip openers. In this class, we work towards a peak pose where we do both. :)

πŸ‘‰ Recommended for intermediate students and strong beginners who are comfortable with the vinyasa sequence and basic poses, this total body Vinyasa Flow yoga will include options and modifications that can be adjusted based on your desired intensity level.

We start in Mountain Pose and warm up with a standing flowing sequence. In this yoga video, we flow through modified sun salutations (knee-down chaturanga, cobra waves); but feel free to do your own variation anytime. There's a little bit of everything! We do our standing sequence, balance poses, backbends, forward folds, twists, side stretches and lots of hip opening. Our peak pose is King Pigeon Pose (Eka Pada Raja Kapotasana). It is a deep backbend and hip opener and we prepare for it throughout the class. All the elements we explore during class will be put together in that culminating peak pose. Don't worry, I offer modifications and you can choose the version of the pose that is right for you. We slow down with our seated sequence (Pigeon series, Double Pigeon, Side Stretch, Cowface Legs with Twist) and a Supine Side stretch. There are approximately 5 minutes of Savasana music at the end then we close the practice together.

πŸ‘‰ Notes: If your knees feel sensitive, make sure you pad your knees with a blanket or towel. Use it when we are in our low lunge poses and pigeon.

THANK YOU to all of you! It took a long time to get here but I'm grateful for this journey.

Yoga Basics: Foundations of Vinyasa Flow | 30 Minute Yoga Class

This is a 30-minute vinyasa flow yoga basics class for both beginners and intermediate yogis. For beginners, this Foundations of Flow class will take you through the common poses you'll find in a typical yoga flow class, with clear instructions on proper form. For intermediate yogis, you can use this as a more gentle practice on your recovery days when you want to take it easy. Also, it's always good to revisit the basics to refine our alignment and deepen our practice in the long run. Please note that there are more instructions and cues than usual for the poses and transitions.

We start in Mountain pose and go through a standing flow. We go through different options for the vinyasa transition. We'll practice our seated and supine poses and stretches. There are a few minutes of Savasana, our final relaxation pose, and then we close the practice together.

This is a combined vinyasa flow and deep stretch yoga practice. First part is a slow-paced meditative flow. Second part is deep stretch where we hold the poses for a minute or so. I recommend this for strong beginners to intermediate yogis. There will be minimal cues for most poses. There are no balance poses. We end with 5 minutes of Savasana and close the practice together.

Standing Vinyasa Flow Yoga for Strength & Balance | Under 20 Minutes

This is a 17-minute standing yoga flow to improve strength and balance for strong beginners and intermediate yogis with experience in vinyasa practice. We start and end in Mountain Pose (no seated or supine poses). We flow through challenging balancing sequences and strengthening planks, pushups, and side plank variations.
