We are removing this year’s Stumptown Twilight from the calendar.
It is our mission to provide athletes with high level, quality competition with a purpose… as well as community-focused events for all.
For high level racing to take place, we believe it’s best when athletes are able to race in the same place. For that reason, we encourage athletes who are interested in high performance racing to head to ’s Sunset Tour. They do a great job and are offering an opportunity to gain valuable WA points.
For athletes in and around Portland, we encourage you all to sign up for our two remaining All Comer’s meets on July 11th at Roosevelt HS and August 1st at Cleveland HS. Sign up at Portlandtrack.com.
Drafting off the success of Portland Track Festival, we are digging in to planning for 2025 and are very excited to roll out our plans to raise the bar again for PTF as well as introduce some very cool programming in and around the city.
Be on the lookout for new focused-events, gatherings, races, shows and runs, and some very cool things coming to Portlandtrack.com.
Thank you all for being a part of the things we do!

The Forest Shook
In front of a raucous crowd, a supported livestream & KGW showing of the Hot Window locally, athletes turned up the voltage in the Electric Forest.
Champions were crowned, battles were waged and good times had by all.
A tradition unlike any other.

If Eugene is the Frontierland of Track and Field, Portland is the Fantasyland.
Where fantasy and reality are blurred by the turned-up performances that electrify the crowd.
The Portland Track Festival takes place in a city that is home to running history, heritage, culture, creatives, innovators, professionals and individualists and weirdos. It is the industry center.
Walking into the stadium, you are surrounded by legends of the sport, past and present, and members of clubs in the city of all levels, all intertwined, mingling and celebrating the beauty of the sport as members of a society collaboratively constructed.
Walking out of the stadium, you are greeted by a creative, complex culture, arts scene and a top 10 food city in the world, a work in progress, nestled in the forest in one of the most beautiful natural settings in the United States.
The city is known for being weird, quirky, eccentric and original, and it loves people who are not afraid to put themselves out there, stepping into the unknown and testing the waters to produce something great.
We remember those things. The performances that take place in the Electric Forest become part of lore and the people who produce them become legends of the forest.
PTF is put on by people in the city who love the sport and belong to all parts of the running community. The meet belongs to the people of Portland. The United States needs meets like this. Community based meets that hold and build a cultural legacy.
This isn’t some fly by night organization that touches down to pop up a meet and leave the next day. We’re here, with deep roots, growing it year-round, to elevate running in the city and to use running to elevate the city.
There is weight to that. It means something to compete in PTF, to take a win at PTF and to move up in the heats from year to year.
The city remembers.
There are 2.2 million people in the Portland metro area. If they’re not already, one day they’ll all be rabid track fans.
Come one, come all.
We’ll see you next year in the Electric Forest
