Today in 1965, The Beatles protected themselves against the Manchester fog which had delayed their arrival at the ABC Cinema. Never mind that the air was clear inside the Ardwick venue - or that George created his own smog by sticking a ciggie through his mask.

Backstage, the group members met with producer Walter Shenson to discuss - and reject - starring in ‘A Talent for Loving’ as their third feature film. Onstage, they performed the 11 songs that comprised the standard set throughout their final UK concert tour: ‘I Feel Fine’, ‘She’s a Woman’, ‘If I Needed Someone’, ‘Act Naturally’, ‘Nowhere Man’, ‘Baby’s in Black’, ‘Help!’, ‘We Can Work it Out’, ‘Yesterday’, ‘Day Tripper’ and ‘I’m Down’.

A dear friend shared this. It's hard to believe that the last time we played together with Dave was four years ago. It seems even longer ago and like last week at the same time. For Ted, this was the last time he saw him.
Hug your family and friends and tell them how important they are to you and to other people, because you never know...

We feel the need to apologize and continue to warn.

Almost a year ago, we began talks with Atomic Monster Weekend to play a show in the Phoenix area. The organizer had a magazine which ran an interview with us and we thought the weekend sounded like fun. We are now hearing stories coming out of the sh*tshow of his full event cancelation and want to apologize for any legitimacy we lent this event. We also want to warn fans because tickets are still for sale and still have us listed as playing. We are not playing, nor will we if the event ever happens. We hope everyone gets refunded eventually.

Again, we love you, Phoenix, and hope to play there soon, but please don't buy tickets to this Atomic Monster Weekend event thinking we are playing.

No one is more bummed than us to announce we will not be appearing at the Atomic Monster Weekend in Mesa, AZ, as a part of Hulaween a Go-Go. We are not sure of the fate of the rest of that evening's events, but we were told not to come. We are sorry if you had tickets and wanted to see us! We'll find our way back to Arizona hopefully soon!
