Today, Doyal is the Executive Director at Dual Diagnosis Anonymous (DDA), which launched its first meeting in De Paul's basement. For 30 years, he has been a committed advocate for recovery and mental health to our neighbors seeking help.

It truly takes a village of likeminded peers to come together and help those in need! We were honored to be amongst hundreds that showed you at Punx in the Park in Salem to provide hope, resources, and support to at risk youths.

So many resources such as housing, food, clothing, medical assistance, treatment, and peer support through a multitude of combined services all in a place where we meet the homeless at-risk youth all with the attraction of clean and sober fun and music!

WHAT IS DDA?
Dual Diagnosis Anonymous (DDA) is a peer support program based on a modified version of the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA permission granted with a disclaimer) with an additional 5 steps that focus on Dual Diagnosis (mental illness & substance abuse/addiction).
DDA's unique 12 step plus five program offers hope for achieving the promise of recovery through peer support meetings, workbook step study meetings, picnics, campouts, pizza fellowships, bowling, and other social gatherings.
