Welcome to Organize with Jackie! We are an organizing company located in Hampton Roads, Virginia! Let me help you get organized!
I have been loving the acrylic bins. The hall closet is complete! I always suggest that you purchase bins to fit your space, even if some are left empty. This allows you to grow into the space and ensures consistency.
We made some last minute changes to our bin selection in the bathroom closet, so we’re waiting on the additional acrylic bins to arrive and will switch out the gray and white baskets!!

Organizing your bathroom not only looks great but it often leads to a more efficient morning routine!
The secret is storing like-items together! This not only makes it easier to find what you are looking for, but gives you an easy way to gauge what you need to restock and what you can hold off on buying!
Does your bathroom need organized - or any other space in your home? I’m now booking for August and September!
From new paint to new shelving and everything in between, this space has a new look! In conjunction with Portsmouth Service League we updated and organized the Help & Emergency Response, Inc. - HER Shelter donation closet!
We are pleased with how everything turned out, and I look forward to continued involvement to help with organization of this space!
My kitchen drawers are always fairly organized, but when I needed to restock a few bags I thought trying out the bag organizer from Target would be a good option. [They are already my go-to for bags].
Here are my thoughts…
1️⃣ It is large - make sure you measure your drawer!
2️⃣ The price is significantly less than the wooden, acrylic and plastic options. Especially considering it comes with bags in 5 different sizes.
3️⃣ I like that it is one large container with dividers, but know that you can have an organized drawer without it.
4️⃣ I would recommend with a 7/10 rating!

It is not always necessary to buy new bins or baskets to organize your space!
Using one color for containment helped to give the space a consistent look! This closet was organized with 3 different style of baskets that my client had on hand.

If you are finished having children, I recommend keeping your favorite or meaningful items and donate/consign/pass along everything else.

Standard closets come with just a hanging bar, but that is not always practical for storage.
Sometimes the solution is as simple as adding a wire shelf!

What a fun day supproting Bennett’s Creek Sertoma!
Kitchens are one of my favorite spaces to organize! By making small changes through each cabinet and drawer there was a large impact to the space.
Where do you see the biggest change?

The weather cooled down a bit this week and I was able to organize a shed for my client!
I added a shelving unit to store most of their items. Hooks were then hung for chairs and fishing poles. With the addition of bike hooks the shed is now organized and everything is easy to access!
I can’t believe I didn’t show y’all the final before and after of the garage I completed last month.
Which change do you think makes the biggest impact?
When organizing for clients or in my own home, I always try to use the vertical storage space to maximize organization.
In this garage I added wall hooks to hold beach chairs and folding chairs. I put the dog food into a more functional container and relocated it next to the stairs leading inside.
I also wanted to make the laundry area more functional. The cabinets are pretty high and were a stretch for my client to reach. I put backstock items in the cabinets, and added added a shelf to store the laundry products she needs daily!
The past few days were spent organizing a garage, and the transformation is incredible!
In order for the garage to better function for my client the first step was to clear out and sort everything on this work bench. We then removed the bench completely, added a shelving unit for storage, and mounted the bikes on the wall!
Check back for more before and after photos of this garage!

I often find guest room closets used for overflow clothes. In this case I organized by type and color - folding a few items on the shelves and got everything off of the floor!
What do you keep in your guest room closet?
The past two weeks were spent helping a client sort through years of paperwork. Over the next week I’ll be posting some of the before and after photos from the projects I tackled while taking breaks from the paperwork!
First up - the linen closet! Grouping like items and a consistent fold makes a huge difference visually!
I did a quick pantry change-up with the products my client had on hand!
We made the space more functional, and I left her with a few suggestions of products that could help even more!
I have a client that I help once a month. We are working our ways through bigger projects but I always try to do a quick fix while I’m there!
This week we did a quick fix under the kitchen sink. Adding a few bins from At Home and a couple risers from HomeGoods did the trick!
We have too many glasses... and I was given more recently. Our kitchen has tons of storage space, but I still need to purge old items if I plan to add new!
The first step was removing (and donating) all of the glasses that we don’t use. Next up, I adjusted shelves to keep a few items off of the counter. Lastly, everything went back into the cabinets.
