Did you know Bats are very beneficial animals a bat will eat 600 to 900 mosquitoes in one night! These little wood boxes are specially designed to be a cozy warm place for bats to roost and sleep during the day. We just installed a few of them on our property and hopefully we can encourage some bats to take up residence. Maybe it will reduce the onslaught of mosquitoes we have here in the summer!

It was a beautiful day to get them ready for the soon to come mowing season!

Last night’s windstorm turned severe for some. If you have trees down or damage, please reach out. We are available to assist in cleaning up.

I haven’t posted in a while of some of the projects we did for customers, but here are a few walkways and patio we installed last summer!

We are hiring! We have 1 full time position available (March-Dec with paid layoff in winter). You will get to work with Lawn mowing and Landscaping! Please pm us for details and resume!

It may be the dead winter, but we are already preparing for the new season. We took advantage of some unusually warm weather in early February to get our fleet prepped, serviced, cleaned and ready early for the start of the season when spring arrives!

New arrival for the 2024 season to be put to work for landscaping, hardscaping, new lawns, etc!!

Today remember for why we are free

We want to wish all of our customers and friends the very merry Christmas and happy Hanukkah

Happy Independence Day everyone! Despite everything we still live in an amazing and beautiful country! 

Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! We got a little snow last night too.

When I was about seven years old, my mom & dad bought me five paperwhite bulbs for a Christmas gift. My aunt and uncle bought me an amaryllis bulb planted in a pot as a birthday gift. We planted the paper whites shortly after and placed them all next to a window. I begin to watch them grow every day. First, little green tips begin to emerge, then small leaves and then buds begin to push through. I would water them and measure the height every day. It just fascinated me how the whole growing process unfolded. Then one day the buds begin to burst open and, in the dead of winter flowers were in the house!

I can probably say it’s one of the things that inspired me in my enjoyment of nature and probably the reason I have a career and company now in caring for landscaping and plants!

Every year around Thanksgiving I plant an Amarilis (Some I have had for many years) and paper whites. I remember all the good times that I had (and still have) with my aunt, uncle and my mom and dad!

So, 39 years later, here’s to you Uncle Frank, aunt Kathy, Mom and Dad... the 2020 planting!
