I know I haven’t updated anyone in a while about my injury that happened about 4 weeks ago now. So here you go. I did have an MRI and was referred to an ankle specialist. Turns out I did everything but break my ankle. I Tore the Peroneus Longus and the Peroneus Brevis. Also, hyper extended my Achilles tendon and stretched the main nerve from my leg to my ankle along with the severe sprain. I’m working through the pain so I can keep my customers up and going. I start physical therapy next week twice a week for the next 6 weeks so everyone bear with me. It’s been a long process and will continue to be a long process but everyday i just go harder. I’m determined nothing will keep me down 😉

Coolant leak on

I’ve been so busy I have fallen very behind on posting because I get so busy knocking them out I forget to record or take pics. And if I do record or take pics I forget to post ! So I’m sorry I’m blowing up your feed now 😂

Oil cooler housing on this VW passat TDI was blowing out coolant. I can see why

Waste gate key for the turbo on an Acura . These wear down over time and cause an under boost issue for the turbo.

Clogged and broken up catalytic converters on this Subaru

I am looking to hire another skilled mechanic with at least a tech C level of experience. Pay range between 25$ and 40$ an hour based on experience.

Key Qualifications: Valid drivers license and your own transportation.
Your own set of tools. Nothing fancy required as long as you can complete the job safely and in a timely manner.

Hi guys! I wanted to give an ❗️update ❗️since my injury I’m back to work and taking appointments again.
God has been good to me

4 days later. This is the after math from where the jack tipped and the car rolled forward on me. Binding me in between the concrete and jack with most of the weight of the car on me. Idk how I didn’t break it or how my foot isn’t mangled but the good lord definitely had his hands on me! I’ll never cut corners again by not using my jack stands. I’ve been working on cars for a long time and I’m definitely no amateur. But this right here was an amateur mistake that I won’t make again

Thank you all for the love and support while I’ve been out of town dealing with a family matter! I am forever grateful and thankful for all of you! You guys truly do not know how much I love you all! I should be back to normal operating hours by Wednesday this week!
If you need anything before I’m able to get you on my schedule I have a technician that I’ve employed since January and he’s great at what he does ! I can send him as long as he’s available.

Appalachian ingenuity

Hey guys! I’m not the person to ask for help so this is hard for me. As all of you know I employ myself with Shers car care. I have been in Florida this week tending to a personal family emergency which I thought would be resolved in a couple of short days. I am now learning that this may take up to next week before I am able to return back to my family and working life. If anybody would like to send a small donation to help cover the unexpected travel expenses, hotel stay and medical treatment I would greatly appreciate it. Happy Monday morning! Even mechanics wake up with a random check engine light on. Looks like I gotta put myself on the schedule 🤣🧑‍🔧🧰🦾

Water pump replacement

Chevy 2500 drive shaft center support bearing dried up and broke loose causing this driveshaft to rotate on the bracket until it eventually dropped. VERY dangerous⚠️‼️
Thankfully I was able to have the drive shaft rebuilt by replacing the tubing,all new ujoints and a new support bearing pressed on for half the cost of a new one.

Coolant leaks can be pesky on these BMW’s
After doing a pressure test and removing the splash shield I was able to locate why the customer had to keep adding antifreeze.

If you think it’s been a while since you’ve had your brakes done and you’re unsure about replacing them please feel free to reach out and schedule a brake inspection. Typically if you have about 2 brake inspections done over the course of 12 months you can prevent rotor damage.
That’s when the cost for a brake job ends up doubling. 🔧🚗😎

I flushed this heater core and engine for about 2 hours after we HAD to replace the radiator because it was too clogged on top of the original problem (leaking water pump)
