Thank you to all who make it possible for me to go on this trip and knowing the barn and horses are well taken care off. You guys rock!!!

Horses feed,stalls cleaned,loaded up with hay. Time to recoup for this afternoon.

It was only beautiful for about an hour this morning,than lack of sleep and taking care of the horses,cleaning stalls took the beauty of this f..., snow away. Nap time !!!

Tallie and charley feet

Horses fed and alfalfa soup
Hoofs checked and snowballs removed
Snow removed from blankets and doubled
Eye meds for jazz
Path shoveled around barn and up to the house,just in case it freezes. Learned my lesson in 2011
Sure I'm forgetting something.
Stay warm and safe everybody

I'm gone go and play in the snow,let's do this.

This morning didn't go as planed,both water spickets frozen at the barn.
With heating pads and heater I unfroze them and no pipes busted,yeh
Than Thomas wants to fix the one dripping and didn't turn the water off,let me just say it was a mess. Good thing is now I get a new spicket :)
So ready for a vacation

I went down memory lane and watched some of the videos of Little Man, he looked so happy. Best gift he could give me!!!

Don't think the horses mind it being this cold,since it means alfalfa cube soup, salt added to grain and extra hay for the night. The sound of slurping filled the Barn, love it

Big thank you to Sara and Don for all the help the last two days. It wasn't easy but we kept the horses happy. !!

Best investment this winter- portable water heater- hot water instantly!!
No more schlepping hot water from the house or using a bucket heater!!

Think it's been a while since I mentioned Heated Buckets are the best !!!

I thought I turn the horses out this morning,nicely blanketed,changed my mind. This wind is brutal.
Rather give them soaked alfalfa cubes and loads of hay.

Don't forget our Christmas party is the 27th starting at 6.30. Bring a dish,a gift so we can play the game.
