BURN BAN!!!!!!!
Due to the recent drought-like conditions, the Gibson County Board of Commissioners has issued a BURN BAN. This burn ban will be in place until the Commissioners rescend the Executive Order, but will be revisited in 7 days.
This burn ban prohibits:
1. Open burning of any kind using conventional fuels such as wood or briquettes or propane.
2. The burning of debris, such as timber and vegetation, including such debris that results from building construction activity.
3. Campfires and other recreational fires.

Tuesday May 3rd, 6am-6pm central time.
Early voting at the courthouse runs weekdays through Monday May 2nd and then Election Day is Tuesday May 3rd for those who didn’t get to vote early. (We hear this week they have early voting Saturday hours as well)
