As Hispanic Heritage Awareness Month comes and end we look at what "life" means in Hispanic culture. Hispanic culture views life for what it is – a special Gift from God.

As we continue to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Awareness Month we focus on community. In our community, we gather in faith, we see our children grow and we learn the benefits of fraternity, sharing, serving and solidarity. Within our community we learn to accept the differences of others and in that we can see the value that God has put into each and every one of us!

In Hispanic culture, family is always family. Regardless of time, distance, disagreements, or physical separation; the phrase “family is family” is more than just words, it is a declaration of perpetual love for those we consider family - and once established - the love will always be there!

As we kick off Hispanic Heritage Month, we look at faith among Hispanic Knights of Columbus members. Faith comes to all of us through the ear, (Rom 10:17) - by listening to the Word of God and receiving it in our hearts. Thus, we are all called to put into action what we learn from our faith.
