Happy Friday!! We made it through another super busy week! 🎉
Shout Out: The 22nd Annual Women In Business Summit by is Friday, 9/8/23. The Kick-Off Party was last week and it was SO nice to meet & mingle with some amazing ladies that excel at what they do! Surrounding yourself with intelligence, drive, ambition & a willingness to share in success is one of the best ways to recharge your own business mindset! The party was just a small taste of an even bigger & better vibe at the Summit event. They sold out last year and they’re already 3/4 of the way in doing so this year. If your a fellow, local in the Dallas area, grab a ticket & hit me up. I’d love to go as a group. Plus, it’s at - a great place to spend the work day and follow-up with a date night.

This chic but welcoming sitting room speaks to the beautiful Spring day we're having here in Dallas! 🌸 We honored the client's request to stay within a neutral palette, while incorporating mixed metals, animal prints, soft touches of color to balance the bolder black accents, and lots of texture throughout...from the crystal to the hide, the marble to the velvet.
Neutrals don't have to be boring, and beauty doesn't have to be bold.
This Tea Rose marble was brought in from Italy 30 years ago for our client who built their gorgeous home in Highland Park. A substantial crack had formed along the bottom of the walls and shower, due to both a leak & time. The client asked that we try to find the same material to replace it, but we knew that would be a hard ask. Instead, we fortunately happen to work with an amazing stone team, with the skills to painstakingly restore it. 💗
🍀 Happy St.Patrick’s Day 🍀
We had a lot of fun putting a modern twist on this “tweet” little powder room. 💛
Who said that wallpaper, millwork or art have to be the focal point in a room? 🤩
Plantation shudders are classics, but mechanical rollers, Roman, solar & woven wood shades can help to create a customized look, while also offering more natural light to come through. The elevated customization offers your choice in colors, styles, fabrics, the degree of light & privacy filters and ease of use in a modern approach!

Happy International Women's Day! 👯♀️
We are committed to supporting our fellow ladies that get up every day with big goals, big dreams and full plates to manage! We are inspired by the hard work & hustle of so many of our women friends, family, colleagues and in our network that help to make OUR goals & dreams come true!
Thank you for all of your support! 🖤
Which of these trends would you like to incorporate in your home style?
🐎Arches & Curves: Softer profiles; less rigidity in structural features
🐎Artisan Touches: Handcrafted Furnishes & Décor
🐎Character & Personality: Add more of what makes your home tell a story of you, lean in to the not-so-trendy. 😉
🐎Color is back! Enjoy more than a “pop” of your favorite ones!
🐎Ambient, General, Task Lighting: Layer it & even better…let one be the statement in the room!
🐎Natural Neutrals: Earthy tones & less gray is the new way.
🐎 Old & New: Add character to any space and embrace a little Then & Now.
🐎Performance Fabrics aren’t just for kids & pets anymore. Durability is smart, and can still be very pretty.
🐎Statement Stone is one of the best ways to add next-level luxe & elevate your space.
🐎Sustainable Design is an investment for everyone; today & tomorrow.
🐎Texture is the essence of sensory style & esthetic expression.
This 💚Therapy Room💚was done for a sweet little girl that loves horses {our favorite kind of girl}! She puts in a lot of hard work in this room each day to be able to ride and we wanted it to be a fun & cheery space she could continue to reach her goals!
Horse Print: “Champion”
Just like her.🏆🐎💗

Sneak Peek: 😍
These 3 Bathroom Designs will be under construction soon!
From the luxe feel of subtle to the mix of bolder color & pattern, we are looking forward to seeing these transformations progress to their beautiful results! 🤍
Primary Bathroom Upgrade:
Marble details please! 🤍
The key for these clients ~ Elevate the look, create spaces to show off their crystal, and refresh & modify the closet to tie to the bathroom. We took the flooring through both spaces that alone helps the flow. Adding an island, creating more storage & then topping it with a matching pendant brought a boring closet to life! 🌟
Check out our IG .horse.interiors to see the added video of the mirrored jewelry storage that is almost 7’ tall, 4’ wide & over 300 lbs!
Every girl needs one!! 🙌🏼
Keep swiping for the before ==>>

🐎Primary Bathroom Reno🐎
These sweet clients wanted to update their space with a sophisticated & bold look that was still warm & relaxing - with both character and a pop of color added In the mix. 💚
We accomplished it with a black & white motif, just enough green, some brass finishes, a new stained barn door, and layers of pattern in both the floor tile & vanity backsplash wall.
The added perks:
✔️An expanded shower for two
✔️A dry zone with a built-in niche of glass shelving.

Challenge Accepted: This tiny powder room under the stairs started as just a toilet & a sink. Not only was it desperate for a , but the clients needed a way to make it a full bathroom for their overnight guests. Fortunately, there was just enough space for us to allow for a shower. We were hired for design concept only, as the clients had their own family contractor. Once the concept was approved we didn’t know what they would keep of our render for the final product, so when it was done & they invited us back over, it was fun to see that they created it almost exactly as we had designed it! 🌟
That shower though…🖤

We’ll be sharing bathroom updates all this week! 🛁
This bathroom serves 3 little ones.
It needed a lot of help to get up to speed with the cuties that use it. 👧🏼👦🏼👶🏼
Mission accomplished! 🤍

Good {Textile} {Textured} Tuesday!!
A friendly reminder that your hallways deserve some attention too!
How fun is this art & rug combo? 🖤
Over the past few months we’ve been approached by 2 top, reputable contractors in DFW asking to join forces and build our design services into their client bid offerings. It helps relieve their team of getting bogged-down in design aspects so they can focus on construction, it gives the client comfort & value in making good aesthetic choices on their large investment, and ultimately offers us the opportunity to welcome more families into our DHI family! 🖤
Yesterday morning was a record ~ 2 separate client’s projects, 3 sets of bathroom foundational selections to create on the spot, present & finalize, 4 hours to get them all done:
🐎 We got it accomplished - with time to spare. 🙌🏼
🐎 Clients happily accepted all of our first selections presented.
🐎 100% of all materials chosen will meet day .
🐎 I received very sweet appreciation texts from both clients last night. {fave part 🤍}
Sisters 👯: Part Two ~ Jules
This sweet little one was ready to get a new room like her big sis. Mom & Dad's requirement was to make a big impact on a reasonable budget.
Jules' requirement was to do all things . Her loves ~ pink💕, unicorns 🦄, rainbows 🌈, dressing-up 👗🥿.
She was the cutest. 🥰 She wouldn't peek in her room between the days of her wallpaper going up to final install a few weeks later and she would get on to her parents for leaving boxes where she could see what was in them when they delivered. 😅
She was ALL about the surprise! 🎉
We had a lot of fun with this one. We hear she loves her room and has since customized her shelves with her stuffed animals. 🐻
Just as it was intended!
Fun(ny) Fact: The first item I purchased for her room was the stuffed unicorn head on her wall. I found it on our vacation to Napa last year. I wasn't supposed to be working that trip, but who are we kidding...and after striking up a convo with the store owner who was also a designer, he offered it to me for her budget-savvy project at a steal! We had to check-in an extra bag for the flight home so the unicorn wouldn't get damaged and could sit on my lap.😄
Sisters 👯♀️: Part One ~ Abby
This sweet & spunky ***en was so excited for her new space. We chatted a lot about her likes & dislikes, her needs & wants. She gave us homework & our job was to ensure we understood the assignment! 📚
We added some personal touches to really allow her to “own” the space, from the framed beloved-pup that is no longer with the family, but sits above her space to always watch over her, the wall tagged with her name & paw, a corner shelf to frame her , and because she wanted a room inspired by & , we added a few live plants & a beginner planters book to help her take care of them! 🪴
A special thanks to for coming through on the wall mural!
