I’m sending this inspired pickup to someone who didn’t order it and doesn’t know it’s coming. I hope they like it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sending out a demo set of Baby Men today! Can’t wait for you to see it!
Photos taken moments before disaster
Who can guess what kind of guitar these 3D printed k***s are for?
Awesome new logo by my incredible, incomparable wife
Trying something new
Some wide range humbuckers; one for me and one for a friend
More work on this batch of . These will all utilize a quick-connect system that saves end users from having to wire the push/pull pots themselves. They’re a cinch to install!
Do you or someone you know build guitars? I’m working on a batch of 10 sets of Mystiques to send out as samples. These are my special design that sound better than any other coil-splitting humbucker, so they’re perfect for anyone wanting more tonal versatility in their builds. Send me a message if you’d like to receive a sample set or tag someone who you think might!
What to do when you lower the saddles of the instrument you’re working on all the way but the action is still too high? Well in my case, I a 1° shim that matches the shape of the neck pocket. Robots, man!
Bought this pink for personal use and to demo my Jubilee pickups. What do you guys think of the mods?

This was a fun one! My first-ever strat-sized humbuckers, custom 3D printed braid design k***s, a switch tip and pickup cover to match, plus super shiny frets for silky smooth playing feel. Other than the pickguard, I made I piece of plastic you see in these pictures
Resin 3D printing is excellent for generating smooth, polished plastic parts like this mini-humbucker surround that I made for this offset telecaster. The guitar has a four-way switch for series wiring and a blend control to add in the mini-hum by me
I spent HOURS on these and it will take hours more to print them. Would it have been easier and probably even cheaper to just buy them? Yes. Do I have regrets? Also yes but this isn’t one of them
FOR SALE!
I’m selling the Squier Tele deluxe that I used as a test bed for my “Mystique” humbuckers. As some of you may know, these pickups were designed with the intention of being the world’s best coil-splitting humbuckers. Here’s your chance to decide for yourself if I achieved that. Message me if you’re interested
Had a blast designing this custom pickup!
This wasn’t a bass when I started working on it this morning and now it is. That’s what I do
Don’t drop your guitars. Or do, I’m not the boss of you
It may not be a real Gibson but with PBFs and a new bone nut it is real good
I like a lot of things but what I like the most is making pickups
Trying out a hotter version of my PBFs called “Holy Grails.” This vintage Korean Les Paul is the first guitar to get them. Send me a message if you’re interested in the guitar or the pickups!
This ‘73 strat came in for a facelift. Brand new brass nut installed. Swipe to see the old one
Sure, I’m the guy who created the world’s best coil-splitting humbuckers but I still do other tech work when it comes up. This bass just got a new tusq nut to replace the old plastic one. Much better!
Brand new set of PBFs ready to rock and roll all night!
People say that import and gold foil pickups were simply designed so they could be cheaply produced but I don’t know, man. Pretty sure it’d be easier to make a jazz bass or something
An oft overlooked classic from
I found out I can make two sets of PBFs much more quickly if I make them concurrently as a batch rather than one after the other. The more you know
Here’s the bridge position Mystique in single-coil mode. I like to think it bridges the gap between a p90 and a tele. Do you agree?
Well, I promised I’d show you soon and here they are: the Mystique humbuckers! These pickups use a coil-splitting technique not found anywhere else and deliver the most realistic strat tone you’ll ever get from a PAF style humbucker
It’s been a while since I’ve posted but I’m back! I’ve been super busy working and prototyping new pickup designs that I’m pumped to share with you. Look out for videos in the next couple days! In the meantime, I’d like to announce that I’ll be adding a new dimension to my social media presence. In addition to posting my work, I’ll also be sharing some sketches with important information I want to share. Hope you enjoy!
