Senior capstone projects are an end of the year opportunity to reflect on how the four pillars of CCS (spiritual formation, personal character development, academic excellence, and leadership development) have impacted their life journey, and how they plan to take their God-given strengths to impact the world after graduation.

The 2023-2024 yearbooks are fabulous. What a treat for the junior high and high school kids who got to experience the jam-packed book, sharing the story of the achievements, memorable moments, and fun recollections by students and staff. Mrs. De Monnin’s yearbook class works on creating the graphics, intentional effort in taking and collecting photos and telling the stories that grace each engaging page! If you get a chance, steal a peek!!

We have an amazing group of admin assistants across our district; this campus is particularly grateful for Krista, Bethany and Kristen. Choir Tour wrap-up at Twin Rock camp 🔥

Choir students in 8th through 12th grade, led by Mr. McKee, kicked off their tour at First Presbyterian Church of Tacoma. The students were able to work in groups starting with "Shades of Blue" to try out different acoustical spaces in this old, beautiful, landmark church. They followed with the other assembled groups moving around the sanctuary. There was time built in to reflect on God's goodness and the plans He has for their lives, followed by encouraging words from Mr. McKee, before heading to more stops on the tour! This team will minister and be ministered to, during this tour! God is good!! ♥️

Thank you to Mr. Botka and the drumline students and their families for their help in leading the parade at the pregame celebration on the field at the Rainiers game! 🥁⚾️💙

Our very own CCS yearbook staff has been recognized for creating one of the best yearbook cover designs in the entire country. Less than 3% of schools ever reach the Program of Excellence gold level and even less than that are selected each year by Jostens to be part of the “Look Book”! Ms. Michelle De Monnin has led these students to excellence. Reaching the goal of being included in the very prestigious “Look Book” has been a targeted focus of Ms. De Monnin’s for Cascade Christian. We are thrilled to share in celebrating this quality work by these dedicated high school students.

We had a beautiful evening for a game of soccer at Sunset Stadium in Sumner! Our JV boys soccer team played with grit and integrity in a tied game. Be sure to check the soccer schedule to support these student athletes! Go COUGS!!

Guided prayer for Spiritual Emphasis Week included: giving thanks, confession & repentance, meditation on scripture, and ending in a silent time of prayer 🙏

Chapel began with worship songs lead by the praise team before the message to soften the hearts of the students regarding what God has in store for them. Zoey, a CCS high school student, answered the call to share at chapel with the junior high and high school student body. Zoey shared authentically about how she was born and raised in a Christian home and how this strong foundation led to her desire to seek God and turn to scripture for answers as she moves through her life’s journey. At a very young age, Zoey faced a trial that tested her faith as well as who to turn to for guidance. God showed up over and over through this experience, along with many others, including her parents and a close friend to point her to Jesus. What an inspirational message to hear and apply to our lives. Grateful that Zoey is following the Lord's call in her life!

It’s a FULLY EMERSIVE experience when you step into a CCS Spanish language class. Students at the high school level are directed to speak primarily the language being taught. Classrooms display beautiful color choices that provide a space of comfort and creativity. Mrs. Kasemeier and Mrs. Hinkeldey both share a welcoming and caring presence throughout their interactions with each student. We are so blessed at Cascade Christian Schools to have teachers who bring years of experience and excellent classroom management to our campuses. 🐾💙
