Coach Spearman's journey to wrestling is a unique one, but don’t mistake his passion for excellence. During his time as an athlete he helped lead Monarch to 2 state runner up finishes as a Tight End, and Defensive End. On the baseball diamond he helped his team make it to the final 4 as a first baseman. He continued his journey in athletics at University of Colorado where he played football his first year before transferring to Hasting College where he started his remaining 3 years playing for the Bronco Baseball team. Coach Spearman graduated with a bachelors in Broadcasting and Business and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. Coach teaches special education math, and is the Varsity Defensive Line & Special Teams coordinator for Skyline High School. Coach Spearman never wrestled, but his passion, energy, drive, and determination far exceeds any other which makes him perfect for our staff. Coach has been married to his wife for 5 years and they have 2 children, their youngest they welcomed this november! Coach is excited to bring his athletic prowess and coaching philosophy to the Rattler Wrestling Team.

He explains that the book of 1 Peter says do not domineer over those you are in charge of, but be an example to the flock. As a coach we must lead our athletes by the way we live and treat others.
