Pulled out the 7m and r154 from the 90. Need to tear down the motor to see what needs to be replaced. Everything is getting a full cleaning and refresh.

Well here it is, our next project supra. This is a 1990 turbo targa 5-speed. The interior is super clean, except the dash, and the exterior needs some work 😭. Stay tuned for this restoration this summer.

After a couple months of waiting, my turbo kit has arrived from This is a G35-900 paired with a 45mm Turbosmart wastegate that was anodized in this beautiful green and an artec manifold. Also has a bunch of fittings and lines to run water and oil for the turbo and hardware to mount the manifold.

Here’s my new intake manifold for the 2jz. This thing is sick. Purchased from .loyalty.motorsports
The 2jz is coming along slowly.

As I wait for the replacement camshafts from BC, here are some pictures of the cam sensor welded onto the head. If you didn’t know my 272s came broken so BC is sending me a new set 🫠

Oem lip and lower grille suits this car really good. Still miss the bomex style lip tho

Gave these set of 7m valve covers a makeover. These came out way better than I expected. I used the vht heat paint from autozone.

The 2jz is back from the machine shop. Cylinders were bored .020 over, block was hot tanked and decked. Added new freeze plugs and dowel pins. The crank had a polish for the journals and the pistons and rods were all balanced (Rotating assembly balanced). Next up is to get to ordering all the other parts like oil pump, gaskets and seals.

Here’s some progress for on the 2jz na-t build for the supra. Head is back from the machine shop for some cam sensor mods. Received my CP pistons and BC rods along with other stuff. Block is currently being decked and honed and balancing the roaring assembly. I will be making youtube videos on all of this this summer 🙂

Finished up the painting the damaged parts for the Supra. Came out really good for spraying in 40 degrees.

We got a new Supra! It’s an 88 7mgte/r154 targa top. Actually had the car for about 2 months now but I haven’t gotten around to posting it. Anyways, we will be rebuilding the 7m and giving it a full makeover. This will take some time so be patient. Let us know what color you would like to see on this, I’m thinking a midnight purple, orange or blue. Also be sure to subscribe to our youtube channel and check us out in TikTok. We will be posting the full restoration on both 👌🏾

Update on the Supra. After getting hit multiple times on the street, I am finally repairing the damages. Yet people still park like this which is annoying. Don’t park on the street guys 😔
