Our 15,000-square-foot medical building at 220 Springbrook is now fully leased! We’re thrilled to welcome DaVita, along with other medical providers, NC Retina Associates, and an Oral Surgeon and Dental Implant Specialist. Located right next to UNC’s Johnston Memorial Clayton Hospital, Spring Branch Park is in the heart of Clayton Medical District.

It was a great day to see everyone who attended the topping out ceremony of the new 55,000 SF medical office building at building 3700 Barrett Drive. Future tenants, Oberlin Road Pediatrics, North Carolina Nephrology, and Raleigh Medical Group, had the opportunity to sign a beam and “make their mark” on the building. We are excited to welcome them to their new homes in 2024.

Ja-Far Peek is a property management engineer and HVAC technician at Atlas Stark. His connection to Atlas comes full circle with the discovery that his grandmother, Delores Glenn, used to own 911 N West. A building that is owned by Atlas. In 1985, Delores purchased the building to operate her upholstery business, Rainbow Upholstery. The business specifically focused on training former female inmates in the upholstery trade. The original location of Rainbow Upholstery was right across Capital Boulevard, in what is now The Cotton Mill Lofts. Ja-Far has many cherished family memories from both locations, and he takes immense pride in his family's contributions to the Triangle area. Today, his uncle Charles Bullock owns and operates the current Rainbow Upholstery business out of Wake Forest, and he is also a friend and business partner of the Atlas Stark family.

Welcome to 220 Springbrook Avenue! This 2.33-acre site features a 15,000 SF newly constructed medical office building, conveniently located next to UNC's Johnston Memorial Clayton Hospital in the Spring Branch Park medical office hub. The historic building in Downtown Clayton, originally constructed in 1901, has a rich history as the hardware store owned by J.G. Barbour, known as Barbour and Sons Hardware. It was known for the most elaborate brickwork in town, featuring a curved parapet with decorative corbelling and blind recessed brick panels with flat arches. J.G. Barbour's entrepreneurial initiatives set the stage for Clayton to develop into a major trading center for the region in the 1900s. Our recent project focused on reviving the building while carefully preserving the significance of Downtown Clayton's past. As a result, the building has transformed to a vibrant destination and home to the Cardinal Bar, Lil Ombre, Crawford Cookshop, and Hair on Main. A limited number of office spaces remain available.

Poe Center for Health Education just opened the newest development for PlayWELL Park—the Mindwell Garden Labyrinth. The garden focuses on a mix of sensory plants and techniques for managing stress to help improve children's mental health. Our very own Trey Adams is a Poe Center board member, and we are proud to be a part of this newest space in support of youth mental health.

We are excited to announce the redevelopment of the Welsh Warehouse in downtown Wake Forest. Located at 535 S. White Street, the historic building had previously been utilized as an agricultural supply warehouse. The adaptive reuse project will feature a vibrant food and beverage scene, along with a blend of retail and creative office space. The completed project will maintain the building's unique character while providing space for the community to gather.

Ja-Far joins us with extensive experience as an HVAC technician, residential installations and maintenance, and a background in governmental and commercial contracts. While not working, he enjoys collecting rare vinyl records, writing poetry, cooking, and traveling. Welcome to the ASH family, Ja-Far!
