“During my time here at PMC these past few weeks, everyone has been so welcoming and ensured that I am settling in comfortably. I love that I get to meet some UNCG Alumni and talk with various coworkers about how their journey has lead them to PMC. I’m excited to continue on in this process as I absorb and build connections with everyone!”
Please join us in welcoming our Summer Intern, Courtney Gwyn to our Charlotte design team! Courtney is a rising senior at UNC Greensboro, studying Interior Architecture. Fun facts: Courtney’s go-to snack is Teddy Grahams, Princess & The Frog was her favorite Disney movie, and her dad was once a lifeguard so pools are a Summer-must!
We’re all about the pastels and spring-vibe from these beautiful textile mood boards. Happy Easter from PMC!
HAWK is nestled in Charlotte’s eclectic South End neighborhood - one of the city’s most vibrant and fastest-growing areas. Ram Realty and Cline Design set out to find the prime location to build the first luxury high-rise in South End. Aside from incredible views, this 13-story apartment tower boasts walkability to nearly 200 shops and restaurants, including six craft breweries, top eateries in the Design District, and extensive shopping at historic Atherton Mill.
PMC’s dedicated Multi-Family team successfully procured, managed, and installed products for this impressive project. But, of course, it also didn’t hurt that HAWK is conveniently located directly across from our own office in South End!
We are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this project and thank our partners, Cline Design and Ram Realty.
This week’s Feature Friday is also a Flashback! Marsh Properties is a multi-family developer located in Charlotte, NC who wanted to make an impact in the South End area and create a distinct product and experience for their residents.
The Edge, Marsh Properties' new luxury apartments located right off South Blvd, was an incredible project in a vibrant, yet peaceful spot where people want to live. The project was delivered during the height of COVID-19 so there were many challenges, but the client, the A&D firm, and PMC worked hard to deliver a beautiful space that will have an impact in the South End community.
Chameleon. Darran. By Mark Muller.
It’s all in the details. Chameleon is a curated collection of desks, simple storage, and screen solutions that are easy to configure and personalize from a hand-selected palette of wood, felt, and acoustic materials. Chameleon Private Office is suited to outfit executive suites.
Cassina: Capitol Complex.
Originally envisioned to furnish the Legislative Assembly building in Chandigarh, this glass and solid wood table, a tribute to Pierre Jeanneret, is reinterpreted by Cassina thanks to the skilled workmanship of its fine joinery masters in Meda.
The Capitol Complex Table reflects the author’s deep ties with the area and his resulting preference for designing minimalist shapes made with simple materials. Hence, a table made entirely in solid wood with a base formed by two graphic elements with the characteristic “V” shape.

Capri. Hightower Group. By busk + hertzog.
The Capri series offers both comfort and style with a variety of options available from a wood leg to a swivel base and from a generous lounge seat to a slimmer guest chair option.
Vanity Fair. Poltrona Frau. By Renzo Frau.
Officially called “model 904” but known, since 1984, as Vanity Fair, over time this seat has become the emblem of Poltrona Frau. It is thought that the project, which first went into production in 1930, was developed on the basis of designs that Renzo Frau left his wife, Savina.
Mangas Space Pouf. GAN. By Patricia Urquiola.
This is the Rhombus Ivory rectangular pouf from the Mangas Space collection, a large format piece that can be used as a seat and footrest or as part of a sofa in combination with the other modules of the series. Its design combines two textures and two different colors that intermingle, generating a curious effect of continuity. One is achieved by looping earth-colored threads, and the other is a herringbone pattern in ecru. Both are made of voluminous 100% wool threads.
Famiglia. Allermuir. By PearsonLloyd.
The Famiglia family includes a collection of low, mid, high back and lounge chairs that between them offer a choice of metal or wooden legs and 5 star bases.
Dudet. Cassina. By Patricia Urquiola.
A design chair with soft and enveloping shapes and contemporary comfort, designed by Patricia Urquiola with great attention to the environment.
Alo. Hightower Group. By Gabriel Teixido.
Unconventional simplicity. This series is finely crafted and a perfect fit for a variety of applications, from dining areas and cafes to reception and lounge spaces. Part of the Alo Family including a dining chair, guest chair, and barstool.
Mexique. Cassina. By Charlotte Perriand.
Created to complement the Mexique collaborative table—one of Charlotte Perriand’s iconic “tables en forme libre” designs—this stool is available in a high or low height. The thick, solid wood seat has a playful yet refined free-form shape, highlighted by the lightness of the metal, geometric, three-leg frame.
Clamp. Pablo Designs. By Dana Cannam.
Understated beauty and an uncompromising level of utility are key to the Pablo design philosophy,” says designer Dana Cannam on his inspiration for Clamp. “The opportunity to extend that sensitivity to a material as essential as wood was a natural transition.” Clamp continues Pablo’s tradition of offering simple, efficient pieces by combining two basic elements — wood and light — in a seemingly oppositional pairing of the natural and the technological.
Collaborate. Haworth. By Stanley Felderman & Nancy Keatinge.
The Collaborate Chair brings sophisticated functionality to the workplace. This classic design offers lumbar support for exceptional comfort.
Proto. Hightower Group. By Nick Ross.
Proto is a collection of curved upholstered seating pieces, working as a dynamic dwelling, referencing huts more than rooms with four walls. These designs take one's inclination to turn inward or outward and create mini environments to mimic those moments.
Nodi Armchair. Janus Et Cie. By Yabu Pushelberg.
