Having trouble with power loss climbing hills? New, lightweight rollers will definitely help. Sliders are even better and don’t wear as fast. Try a mix of both for ultimate climbing ability.

If you have installed a big bore kit on a 50cc two stroke minerelli engine and have experienced soft seizing when it reaches operating temperature stop guessing and take the engine apart! The piston rings are too long and are running into themselves when they get hot causing seizing. They must be filed to spec!

For those of you located over seas from the USA, I can only offer DIY advice. Mobile mechanic service is limited to my area of operation only.

Changing from 7.5 rollers to 5.0 gram rollers. Bike didn't like it so I tried 7 gram sliders. I like them better because they run at a lower rpm.

My friend got new shoes today on his Kymco! Mr Moped installed them and painted the wheels.

Kimco agilty 50cc derestriction process requires a little more than most other brands. Before you start, get a new variator boss that is smooth not notched and replace it. Replace the rollers with 8.5gram rollers or sliders and replace the belt if it has gotten thin or has more than 8000kilometers. Top speed increases from 27mph to 42, gps confirmed.

If you're moped battery is dead and you are unable to use the kick start option you can get a jump from another vehicle without damaging your electrical system. Make sure the other vehicle is not running. The alternator will produce more voltage than needed. Put the red cable one the battery and the black cable on the kick starter for a decent ground.

I am located in Raleigh North Carolina. For those outside the area I can only offer advice on how to fix your scooter. Please send as much info about the situation as possible. "It won't start" is too vague. There are hundreds of reasons for a no start situation. Try to include the following....
Was it in motion when it failed
Did it produce any unusual sounds, vibrations or smells
How long has it been parked
What size engine does it use? Example 49 or 50cc, 125cc, 150cc and 170cc
Is it carbureted or fuel injected
4 stroke (common) or 2 stroke (oil and gas together)

Transgender moped

This bike has developed a nasty stumble. Idles great but any amount of throttle causes hesitation, rough running and backfiring. Let go of throttle and the engine dies. I've changed the carb and jets add I've run it with a cone filter, stock air box and no filter at all. Same result. Plug is carbon coated, I've adjusted the air idle screw, set the valves at 004.005, replaced the ignition coil, raised and lowered the needle with no results. What am I missing? It feels like a car running with a misfire.
