Congratulations to President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris. I am confident that your leadership will help move this country forward with empathy and strength, and create a brighter future for the next generation.

Now that the polls are closed, I want to take a moment to thank you for your support. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude when I think about all of the folks who have volunteered, chipped in, and shown up for this campaign.

Having you in this fight with me means so much. Thank you.

Throughout this campaign, I’ve spent time with North Carolinians from all of our state’s 100 counties. Just this past week, I’ve met with local leaders, business owners, and first-time voters to hear what’s on their minds. Here are some highlights:

Our state’s innovative farmers and agriculture workers are central to our food supply and play an important role in our economy. So glad I got to spend some time with them today! (And meet some pretty great animals.)

A wonderful way to end the weekend in Durham with Sen. McKissick for NC at another of our state’s small businesses. Thanks to everyone who took the time to chat and show their support as we head into Election Day week!

Small businesses are central to our state’s economy and deserve to be a top priority—especially as we fight this pandemic.

I’m grateful I had the opportunity to visit some of our state’s finest in Asheboro and Burlington, and can’t wait to represent their owners in Washington.
