LMTS celebrates Johnny and Michelle Sumara on their recent wedding. Johnny is part of the team in Jacksonville, FL. Congratulations!

The L&M Family of Companies has a yearly award that is given to a team member who provides outstanding service and exemplifies and demonstrates First Choice efforts on behalf of any part of the L&M enterprise (Family of Farms, Warehouse and Packing, Transportation Services and Sales). This award is a unique and special honor, in particular, becuase the candidates are peer-nominated.

The 2022 recipient was our own Rob Thomas, who works in the Produce Division of the Raleigh office, and has been a member of the team for 5 years. Rob efficiently and effortlessly handles both weekend, and on-call dispatch, as well as support of the eastern division's daily operations.

Rob has recently accepted a promotion and is now the LMTS Supervisor of Nights and Weekends. We salute Rob, and are appreciative for his contributions that go above and beyond expectations!

Christmas will be a bit merrier for many special people at the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) thanks to the wonderful Community Service Council and employees at L&M Companies who helped gather up a load of Christmas cheer!

The moms, dads, kids, brothers, sisters, grandparents all will have gifts and goodies to help make their holiday season a bit brighter while they’re at the Ronald McDonald House in Durham, NC.

LMTS Holiday Celebrations Include Special Retirees

In keeping with it's 30+ year tradition; the team at LMTS gathered at the Angus Barn in Raleigh, NC to ring in the holiday season. There were awards given to employees that had celebrated milestone anniversaries, as well as having time set aside to honor those who stepped away from the desk this past year.

Jay DeJeet, agents Don Strickland and Richard Williams, Chad O'Shea and Larry Boyd were all thanked as they head into retirement following decades of loyalty and dedicated services in helping to build LMTS into what it is today.
