Today, county leaders from across NC convene in Wake County to make visits to the General Assembly as part of the NCACCโs County Advocacy Days. The premier advocacy event for counties began this morning with a legislative briefing panel featuring the Associationโs government relations team, who discussed themes from this session and an overview of legislation including proposed state budget bills. Throughout the day, county commissioners and staff held meetings at the legislative building in downtown Raleigh to update their legislators on community developments and discuss opportunities for collaboration and ways to improve the lives of all North Carolinians.
