It’s no surprise that autumn is my busy season as a photographer. The leaves are beautiful the late afternoon light starts to hit different, and the holidays are just around the corner. Whether it is for holiday cards or simply getting updated family photos, Fall is the perfect time to book a family session, particularly my Fall Mini Sessions.

Rheagan and I did a cool aunt/uncle thing and hosted Madelyn and Spencer for a sleepover last weekend. Many crafts and candy and Christmas movies were enjoyed before their big day at Disney on Ice.

Love being an uncle.

Hiya! 👋🏻 My name is Adam and I am a photographer local to the Raleigh area, but I’ve taken gigs all over the state. I’ve been spending most of my time lately behind the camera working with families. I also take second shooter opportunities for wedding photographers and cover other events as well! I love the idea of connecting with people through my lens. No matter the family, by the end of the session I leave with an understanding of who these people are as individuals and who they are as a family.

I have technically been photographing since my mid-teens and have a degree in the subject. After college, I pivoted into a position at a 3D printing company that has kept me busy for the last 8+ years.

Now that my spark for photography has been rekindled, I am excited to continue taking on new clients and shoots when and where I can and see where this thing takes me! 😊

When the mom of your next family texts you on her way to the shoot with “get ready for chaos”, you go with it. Family photo sessions with active kiddos are a ton of fun and can yield great results if the photographer can let go of control and let the kids be kids!

Little Bristol tried to play elusive during her family’s mini session, but we definitely caught some smiles and fun moments! Thank you Misty and Taylor!

I am still working through Minis Galleries! If you were photographed on 11/19-20, your photos are up next. I am still targeting a 12/1 (or sooner) delivery date for everyone. I am sending email notifications when galleries are ready so keep an eye out.

The best part part about being a “photographer/uncle” is getting to watch and document my nieces and nephew grow up from little kids into big kids. For the Trevillians, I’ve been photographing Nolan and Madelyn since merely moments after birth, which makes these photos at ages 6 and 8 very special. ♥️📷

The Trevillians took a family trip to the beach over Halloween weekend. The weather was a tad dreary on the first day but the kiddos still found fun in the ocean.

This family was a whole vibe.
