Jamaria Freeman (Fike HS/Wilson, NC) 2025 5’7 G - The GetMeRecruited staff is well aware of the hard work Jamaria Freeman has put in over the years to become the Division 1 recruit she is now. We’ve watched her continue to develop her skillset and work on her weaknesses. Now she has gone from a 2nd & 3rd option on the floor, to the primary ball handler who can score in bunches from her intensity at both ends of the floor. From the time Jamaria stepped into the gym for the last time as a GetMeRecruited alum, she was smiling, you could tell she was relaxed, yet confident her grind was going to allow her to walk away a Super 60 Showdown champion. Doing so she would join a long line of champions who are now playing high major D-1 college basketball. Jamaria’s handles have gotten tighter, her jumper a little sharper, her passing vision more keen, and her aggressiveness going to the rack more intentional. Although we could see other players making a case in the Allstar game for MVP honors, it was at that time Jamaria turned up the intensity and pulled away from the pack. Make no mistake about it, there’s a lot of room for growth in her game, but we’re witnesses that this young lady can and will put in the work, because Jamaria Freeman is not only the current Super 60 Showdown MVP, she’s a competitor who is always up for the challenge.
