SHE IS

SHE IS….BACK! I can’t believe it’s been over two years since my last post. It was then that I was re-diagnosed with stage II non-Hodgkin’s follicular lymphoma, and I decided to pause to focus on my health. Since then I am now with a grateful heart happy to say that I am in remission and the last of my maintenance treatments will be in November!

In addition to my cancer journey, these last two years have been many things from celebratory to heart wrenchingly difficult. Yet above all I am still here and I remain blessed! I hope and pray that you are too!

Recently I was given the opportunity to share a some of my journey with the Unconditionally Her podcast - it’s called “Exhaling”. Catch up with me and let me know your thoughts.

You are amazing. You are loving. You are strong. You are selfless and graceful and strive to make those around you happy! Here’s to you, our mothers and mother figures. Thank you for all you do, the seen and unseen, to be the best you can be.

As we close Women’s History Month let’s continue to support and encourage one another always! Here’s to you! This month and everyday!

Sometimes I have more questions than answers. I question myself, I question the circumstance, I question the why. But then I am reminded I am not to know everything and that I must trust in Him and the process. Not sure who else may need to hear this but if this was for you, let me know I’m not alone and let’s trust the journey together!

Well hello there, Spring! 💐🌺🌸🌼🌻🌷

This time last week The SheSquad gathered for THE RESET and we didn’t come to play! We created our perfect ambiance with candles and tea and blankets and whatever made us comfortable to be open to and embrace what was to come.

I am so grateful to each 👏🏽 and every 👏🏽 person who CHOSE to spend their morning with me! When I allow myself to think about it, it honestly brings me to tears. They could have chosen to do ANYTHING or NOTHING. Yet, they thought it worthy to honor themselves and SHE IS to spend it together. I do not that for granted and will continue to put together experiences that honor our time and fulfills our needs and desires.
