So sorry Rancho Readers for the delay in collecting Santa letters this year. Our LFL was vandalized and we had to repair it. We won’t let grinches stop us from spreading holiday cheer! So if you want to write a letter to Santa, you can leave it in our Santa mailbox and we will be having a special visitor come Saturday to deliver them to Santa. ❤️📚🎅🏼

Apologies for the late post: Ole School Rocks is grateful to have been selected by Celadon Books for their October Drop Day. Our library now has an Advanced Copy of Angel Maker by Alex North. This is a great suspense thriller just in time for Halloween. We hope you enjoy as much as we did.

We know this post is a bit late but we spent the day visiting Steward Xavier’s Papa and remembering all the wonderful Father’s Days he spent with us. In honor of his Papa, Fathers Day and Juneteenth, Xavier created wooden bookmarks and has added books to Operation Imagination. We hope everyone had a great day with their fathers. Happy Heavenly Father’s Day Papa, we love you!!

There are no words to express how amazingly proud I am of this young man. I have the honor and privilege of calling him my son. I’ve seen him grow, learn, and take pride in being a steward for our community for the past three years. This year has indeed been a challenge due to losing his grandfather to lung cancer in February but his resilience to keep going to make his Paps proud has been heartwarming to witness. He read some of his Papa’s favorite books to finish his 8th grade year and I gave him a copy of Oh, the Places You’ll Go that has been signed by all of his teachers from PreK to 8th. He loved it so much!! Congratulations Steward Xavier and I can’t wait to have new LFL adventures: High School Edition. ❤️📚

To those who will never feel their homeland beneath their feet again, we salute you and God bless you. Operation Imagination has added books in memory of our hometown hero Dylan Merola. We will never forget your sacrifice. We Remember: Memorial Day 🇺🇸

A little bit of April fun from Operation Imagination #86384. These books have been added to the library in hopes it might add some inspiration. Looking forward to reading pieces from our local poets ❤️📚

Little Free Libraries are about more than sharing books. It’s about community, it’s about creating bonds, and it’s about bringing our neighborhoods together with a spirit of love for reading and stewardship. My father lost his battle with lung cancer earlier this month. We received these beautiful condolence cards from stewards in our community of Rancho Cucamonga and one even donated to Read In Color in honor of my father’s memory!! I am beyond touched and thankful to be apart of this extraordinary community. LFL stewards have become like family and I’m beyond grateful for their love and support during this difficult time. Operation Imagination #86384 and Ole School Rocks #122825 will continue in his memory. ❤️📚🕊

Steward Xavier is requesting any LFL who is able to light a candle tomorrow for what would have been his Papa’s birthday, he would be truly appreciative. He thinks that maybe if Operation Imagination gets enough LFL lights, Papa might see them from heaven and know we are sending him love! Thank you all 🕯📚

Steward Xavier would always read to his papa when he was in pain to help him rest. Papa was granted eternal rest on Monday. 🙏🏾💔 Ole School Rocks #122825 will continue in his memory. 📚We love you so much Papa!!
