Congratulations Rose!

Congratulations Rose Wells! - The 2024 Boys & Girls Club of Palm Springs YOUTH of the YEAR!

Along with the title, she will be receiving a scholarship funded by the Palm Springs Pathfinders through the Harold and Judy Stack Scholarship Fund, totaling over $12,000 to help her with her 4 years of college.

Rose, a junior has been a member of the Club for 6 years. She is currently the President of the Keystone Club. She has been a basketball coach for our youth basketball league for the past 2 years as well as a varsity player at Palm Springs High School as a junior. She also acts as a swim instructor for our youth summer swim program. Rose plans on attending Cal State Long Beach to major in psychology in the fall of 2025. We are grateful to have such an outstanding leader to represent the BGCPS.

The Youth of the Year program has honored and celebrated the nation’s most inspiring teens and their incredible journeys. Stories of outstanding leadership, service, academic excellence and dedication to living a healthy lifestyle have made Youth of the Year America’s premier leadership and recognition program for teens.
