Check out Paint A Tee if you are looking for a virtual party or group event. I loved helping the girls draw a unicorn for their flip sequin pillows, T-Shirts and Backpacks.

Right Brain? Left Brain?

This was certainly a year where we all had to tap into our creativity to tackle things we used to take for granted. Think exercise, entertaining the children, getting food and household items and staying active and in touch with loved ones.

Although 2020 brought us some challenging experiences, it also brought some silver linings to our cloudy days. I’m ending this year by sharing a new beginning I had with these art students connecting online after school to create art via zoom.

Our first Zoom Birthday Party for Mila and Mason at Paint A Tee.

I’m amazed and inspired by Marissa at Paint A Tee. She continues to reinvent herself to serve the community. She started with how to videos during our first few weeks of lockdown so children and parents could have some Easter fun. She has evolved to make quarantine graduation, Father’s Day, Birthday and graduation shirts and is now making masks! A shout out to Marissa and all the small business owners who are using their creativity to serve us.

Every Monday afternoon, I met with my art student, Violet. This is a project we would have had so much fun experimenting with. I miss watching her spirit as as she creates. All you need is a starfish, white crayon or oil pastel and some watercolors....
