There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a drink if you choose to do so, but many people feel they NEED a drink just to be able to socialize or maybe take the edge off of being at a party or other social gathering. Somehow, we can tend to default mode into feeling like we’re not enough or just need some help, especially when we get around others. It can be helpful to ask yourself some of these questions when you feel like you need a drink✨ Making ourselves sit with these uncomfy feelings or struggles, so that we can work through them can be transformational! 🌅 I’ve seen it with so many clients. 🤩
Making sure you’re intentional with your choice and honest with yourself with your reason for choosing it can make all the difference between enjoying a drink and feeling like you NEED one.
Also, we have all felt one or more of these feelings before, whether you want to admit it or not 😉. The question is what to do with them, and how that is benefiting or not benefiting your life.
