Just shy of the Championship again but these kids battled all weekend with the best offensive weekend we’ve had-
55 runs scored across four games 🔥

WHAT A DAY!!!!!

So incredible proud of this team. 2-0 out scoring their opponents 29-1. Accumulilated 27 hits, 3, strikeouts, and 4 walks offensively. Defensively we only had 1 error, our pitchers averaged 78% strikes, with one throwing a no hitter shutout, and the other nearly throwing a shutout only giving up 1 hit and 1 run on error.

So incredibly proud of this group of young, fun, and hardworking group of athletes! 2-2 at USSSA State! Lots of runs, hits, dancing, laughter, smiles, a dinger, tacos, donuts, nerd clusters, pickles, and more! On my team… we just have fun!!

Hoping everyone has had a good weekend. The Redmond Championship Tournament picks back up on Tuesday night at the Ridge and Hartman, and features 3 must win games in the consolation bracket. The Jackson Roos Tournament will follow for the championship teams on June 3rd and 5th, stay tuned for details.

As this means the season will be coming to an end of competition for some teams, we have a quick reminder to stay tuned for registration for next year. And, if you are 12, remember, Little League DOES NOT stop at 12, there are great big diamond options as well.

Good luck to all the teams as they work to finish their seasons strong.

Redmond North alums Max, Zaden, Alex, Andrew, Daniel, Brendan are playing for the Overlake / Bear Creek Growls in the 1A State Championship tonight in Bellingham. After facing a 2-1 deficit in the bottom of the 7th last night, they fought back to walk it off against Tenino and will face Meridian in the championship game tonight. My athletes keep rising up to the challenge! My outfielder doing exceptional work leading both offensively and defensively! Way to go Miels!

Outfielder Amelia Fletcher was exceptional at the plate all weekend going 7-8 with 3 doubles, 2 critical singles and drawing 2 walks. She had 5 RBI’s and scored all 7 times!

She also played phenomenal defense for her team, tracking down balls and making 100% of her outfield catches! WAY to GO Amelia!!!
