Last year was tough! But it’s time to take a step forward. I’d like to help those who would like to start up their side businesses. While I do focus on teachers and educators, if others are interested let me know. My foundation is here to not only work and support children, but to help others learn. And if you would like to learn how to start a foundation, or a corporation for your next venture, let me know. I’m looking forward to hosting a free think tank at the end of March early April. BODY: Students are having a difficult time during COVID-19 for many reasons. But lack of movement is a major impact. We are creatures born to move. Our brains develop when we move. And children especially need to move. Now they're sitting in front of a screen for hours not giving their bodies the opportunity to release stress, create new neurons for learning or an opportunity for fresh air and oxygen. We have to find a way for our kids to move outside, even if it's just a walk around the block. This helps develops their brains (and ours) so let's get movin'!🏊‍♀️⛹️🚴‍♀️🚵‍♂️

Welcome to XMLF! A space where knowledge, experience, victories and defeat are shared to help you succeed as an educator and parent. I've worked in education for 20 years and recently realized that I can offer support to more people using a reputable public platform. I'll be posting under the titles of BRAIN, BODY, BULLETIN. As a learning specialist I focus on LEARNING. How the brain and body learn- not just teaching curriculum. I'll share fascinating tidbits, experience and helpful insights you can apply to your student or child's needs. Bulletin is for announcing new training classes, videos and fundraising events (to support financial aid to parents and teachers for their training). One last note- Learning really is best when experienced. The brain understands better and retains longer- hence, the foundations name "Experience the Magic of Learning".
