Did you know we do more than just training?

We have been fortunate to be a part of many other events and programs within the community! We have:

- Donated our time and services to local rescues and shelters for staff and volunteer training as well as dog behavior classes.
- Hosted community seminars for dog owners regarding safety tips and handling.
- Been asked to come onto the news to give input regarding leash laws, dog safety, and dog behavior.
- Attended events as a vendor for fundraisers.

We truly thank our community and all those who have asked us to be a part of special events, fundraisers, and classes. We look forward to more events in the near future and continuing to grow our BarkSide community 🐾

Dog experts weigh in on the importance of training: Bettering your dog’s life Some families may have added a furry friend to their home during the holidays, but by now you may be realizing they require a large amount of time, money, and responsibility.

Attention Dog Foster Families!

BarkSide would like to share that we are offering a FREE 30 minute session to 5 different people fostering a dog within the Reno/ Sparks area. We will be giving away one 30 minute session to 5 different foster families. It does not matter which rescue you are fostering a dog from! We can help with in home training, basic obedience, reactivity, etc. We are offering this through 12/31/2023. Requirements below..

- You must be located in the immediate Reno/ Sparks area. If you live outside of this area but could benefit from public training, we will gladly meet you somewhere within Reno/ Sparks area.
- You must send us a Direct Message first. We will then direct you to our website for scheduling.
- The dog must be a foster with an organization, be prepared to show us proof if needed!
- The dog must be up to date on vaccines. We have a contract that we will send you prior to the session.

Please share on social media! We would love to help some foster families for the holiday season! We love to have the opportunity to show our appreciation for those who are fostering, especially with behavioral dogs.

BarkSide would like to introduce and acknowledge our COO Julia. We are thankful for all of her hard work, love, and passion for all of the dogs and clients we work with. Without her and her hard work and dedication, BarkSide would not be where it is today. Julia does a lot of the behind the scenes work handling phone calls, invoices, scheduling, and social media. This allows Joshua to focus on training all of our wonderful dogs and clients. Thank you Julia for everything you do for us!

My name is Joshua Green and I am a Canine Training and Behavior Modification Specialist based out of Reno, Nevada. I have been working with dogs for over 7 years from many different situations. While a lot of my experience comes from aggressive and reactive dogs, my knowledge also stems to all dog behavior, enrichment, and training. I use positive reinforcement and a fear-free training style with every dog that I work with. No matter your dog's age, breed, or abilities, we can work together to achieve your training goals with you and your pup!
