The system up at The Lodge at Jackson Meadows is currently ripping 29,941w into the 4,320ah (207kwh) bank of 64 Game Changer 3.0’s with the 29,160wp rated Alpha Pure triple array…AND the entire site is about to break 20 MegaWatts of solar power collected!

This weekend’s big storm in the Sierra will be a true test of any offgrid solar based power system but we’ve been through this multiple times already and this system has been tried and tested already! No one involved, least of all the owners, are worried about anything at all! Fire up the saunas, crank the hot tub, and get the steam showers ripping because this storm is going to be cold and the crew is going to want to warm up after long days out shredding the powder!

Two of my favorite reasons for using panel railing on RVs…

1. The rail mounting allows me to locate and use trusses in the roof structure on every single attachment point, typical RV solar panel mounting tabs don’t allow this.

End Sleeve Ferrules and a set of 97-53-04 square crimp pliers will ensure a quality connection with the push-in type spring connectors and making an extra loop of your THHN wiring relieves the stress on the connector caused by vibration while rolling down the road…it also makes the connection process easy as pie!

Venturing out into the world of solar/ESS/off-grid power systems after it was a side hustle for a few years has been insanely rewarding, busier than I ever imagined, and growth to the point where I’m ready to hire techs and support staff…I figured I would share a few of my projects from the last 7-8 months, including off-grid cabins, RVs, and even a massive 30kWp solar based 207kWh Dragonfly Energy lithium battery bank with 60kw Sol-Ark stacked inverter setup for a massive off-grid compound.

The work is rewarding, challenging, the office views are always amazing!

First array is up, secured in place, wired, and ready to deliver nearly 10kw of free power (thanks to and ) to the 64 (yes, 64) GC3 batteries (totaling 207kwh of storage)…as soon as winter is over, the other two arrays will go up!
