This year, we have made our tree extra special by adding clear ornaments that contain information from our participants who may not receive a Christmas gift this year without your help. Horizon PACE participated in the Richmond Halloween Hoedown. We loved sharing with the community and giving to all the little ghosts, goblins, superheroes and more. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of this event, we look forward to giving more in the future.
Monticello PACE participants, Mac and Estill had a wonderful time at The Rural Development Center's 10-county Senior Citizen picnic, which was attended by over 350 people. Today, the Horizon PACE team attended the Retired Teachers meeting in Monticello. During the event, Carissa Turner, an Occupational Therapist, emphasized the significance of maintaining an active lifestyle in our daily routine. She also provided a demonstration of techniques that can be easily accessed within our homes.
Rachel Chaplin- Marketing Director/ Intake Coordinator, Monticello, PACE
Allow us to introduce Rachel Chaplin, the Horizon PACE Intake Coordinator. Rachel is the friendly face you'll meet when you inquire about our program. She takes great pride in sharing the benefits of our program with our participants. Rachel's hard work and dedication have been instrumental in making our program the success it is today. With over a decade of experience in healthcare, Rachel has worked in various areas and has a warm and caring nature. She loves helping people in any way she can and is often seen around town playing Bingo, delivering sweet treats and goodie baskets, and creatively spreading the word about PACE. During her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and children, attending sporting events, traveling, and cooking. It's important to note that our Monticello PACE clinic also serves the counties of McCreary, Clinton, and Pulaski.

Meet Dr. Stephanie Southard, a primary care physician at Monticello PACE and a native of the area. With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Southard has earned a reputation for her compassionate and kind demeanor with her patients. Many have enrolled in the program specifically to receive her care. When not working, Dr. Southard enjoys spending time with her family, attending sports events, and participating in church activities.

Meet Becky Tuttle, a speech therapist working with Monticello PACE. She travels from our Richmond Center every week to provide her expertise to our Participants. With over 20 years of experience specializing in geriatrics, Becky is an invaluable asset to our company. We are grateful for her dedication to our center.

Shirley Garth-Transportation Director, Monticello PACE
Ms. Shirley Garth is our wonderful transportation coordinator. She is a huge part of our team and without her and the transportation team, our clients wouldn’t be able to receive the services they need. Ms. Shirley has been with Horizon for over 12 years. She has a history with research and development, and administration for over 50 years. Ms. Shirley is not only an asset to Horizon, but is also an asset to her community! She is active in her church in many different ministries as well as many outreach programs in the community. Ms. Shirley believes in the PACE program and feels that this program is very beneficial to the participant's lives.
