Ladies, a great way to connect up with your local sisters:
Thoughts?
We are all about connecting the local faith community to resources for Kingdom Building.
Have you heard about the IF;gathering? check it out, it is coming to Richmond and a great vehicle to connect.
This is from the IF website: "Every gathering and tool that has been built since is created with that purpose in mind–equipping women and serving the church with opportunities and resources to go and make disciples." Check it out at https://www.ifgathering.com/our-story/
Also, spread the word to the women of your church and community.
Do you have a clear VISION for your life?
Good read below:
Three (3) Benefits Having A Personal Vision Helen Keller said, “It is a terrible thing to see and have no vision.” Vision is the ability to see beyond your present reality; it’s the ability to create what not yet exists. Vision is the dominant factor that governs your life; it’s what your prayers are
Good blog for those who help the hurting.
I remember may years ago, I had just suffered a miscarriage and a well meaning sister in Christ tried to comfort me by saying "At least you know you can get pregnant". Yes, I knew I could get pregnant and subsequently went on to have a total of 3 miscarriages. Did she say the right thing to me?
FYI: I did go on to give birth to three marvelous children, but early on we really didn't know if it were possible.
I love the ministry of CCEF and especially Ed Welch. Check it out, please share your thoughts and insights.
When We Hurt Those Who Are Hurting - CCEF “If I were you...”“At least you still have...”“Just [pray, read your Bible, keep praising the Lord, etc....]”“What is God trying to teach you?”
Remember the book that I shared about? ORDINARY by Tony Merida.
Originally, I had planned to host a discussion group at my home and maybe a zoom meeting for those outside of my area.
Things have changed, both my husband and I will be teaching an 8 week program at Fellowship Church of Richmond starting January 14th. The time; 10 am. We were invited by the pastor to bring this exciting topic to all. You are welcomed to attend (you don't have to be a member of Fellowship Church of Richmond) but please let me know so I can have a book for you.
PSA; If you feel God is stirring you to make a difference in this world-- please consider joining a group of like-minded individuals for a 6 week book study.
The book is ORDINARY; Hot to turn the WORLD upside down by Tony Merida
We will be offering both on site groups in Richmond and also an online version (Zoom). All sessions are FREE

BIBLICAL HOSPITALITY | by Tony Evans | Global 7 TV One day, a gentleman knocked on the door of an apartment, and a lady opened it. She said, “Can I help you?” He answered, “One of your neighbors doesn’t have enough money for rent. They only have a couple days left before they’ll get kicked out. I’m going around and…

What You Share When You Show Christian Hospitality - Open the Bible Hospitality is an obligation for every Christian. Peter says to “Show hospitality to one another without grumbling” (1 Peter 4:9). One reason why he says to do so without grumbling is because his original audience, and you and I, are tempted to grumble when we show hospitality. But sharing our h...
Speaker and writer Rosaria Butterfield shares on what Christian hospitality looks like and the impact it can have for the Kingdom of God. The following is a lightly edited transcript.
Christian hospitality is one of the most misunderstood concepts in the church today. So what is hospitality? Hospitality simply is this: it is meeting the stranger and embracing that stranger as a neighbor, and meeting a neighbor, and by God’s power, embracing that neighbor as someone who will be part of the family of God.

As Kingdom Connect starts adding content to this page, think about some of the issues/problems you would like us to address. Remember the purpose is to help equip the church with tools and resources (training) for connecting, communicating and building a Christ glorifying Community.
So often times, visitors are ignored, congregants beg for help, widows are left hungry and the stranger disillusioned about the thing called Christian Community.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. BUT what would you like to see?
We would like to give you solid biblical resources so that you can be part of the change that the church needs.
As the church, we are called to love the visitors and guests, the stranger. True Kingdom living requires us to love strangers. We are the hands and feet of Christ at work through us in our community
Who have you welcomed into your home, your church or your social group this past month? How did you show them the Love of Christ? How are you planning to continue showing them His LOVE?
Recently we had the opportunity to visit a local church. Sadly, this church was recommended, and we wanted to see if it was worthy of recommending to some of our non-churched friends.
The following occurred:
1. No one greeted or welcomed us (except for The Welcome center which didn't know what to give us).
2. We filled out 1st Time Visitor Card and never rec'd follow up contact
3. We went over to coffee station and looked like we were new, yet no one said hello or offered to assist us.
4. We left feeling like we were never seen.
Now, imagine this was a person being called into a relationship with our Heavenly Father. How would they had come away?
