20 years ago we were all trying to understand what had happened that morning. We’ll never forget the feeling of numbness, shock, and fear! We’ll also never forget the unity and pride in our country following that fateful day! We were honored to play a small role in rebuilding One World Trade Center by delivering steel to go into that monumental structure. That will forever be our proudest moment as a company and I know that holds true for the driver’s as well!

This guy right here… Just a few weeks ago he was on a ventilator fighting for his life! This week he returned to work and is feeling great and almost completely back to normal! We asked everyone at the beginning of his illness for all the prayers we could get for him and they were answered! We thank you for your support and all the love you sent Ritchie’s way!!! We were so very lucky this story had a happy ending and we know that’s not the case for so many of our other families, friends, and acquaintances, so join us in continued prayers for all of them!

Here is the latest on Ritchey if you have been following this story… We believe in prayer and we know that thousands have gone up for him over the last 10 days or so and all of you are a large part of that! THANK YOU!!!

Friends, family, business associates, even acquaintances, and any other way that you may know me, I come to you today not only asking, but begging for prayers for my friend and driver, Ritchey Wilmot, who is in the hospital battling COVID. He was placed on a vent today and this is a critical time for him. I ask you to also remember his wife and kids in your prayers, too, as they desperately need them. Please also respect the family’s privacy and await updates via Facebook per their request.

As you may remember, last year on October 22nd, we experienced what no one would ever wish to go through! One of our partners and drivers was involved in a horrific head on collision and was airlifted to University of Cincinnati Medical Center from the scene of the accident. Luckily, no lives were lost and while the injuries did turn out to be severe requiring multiple surgeries and a long road to recovery with physical therapy, Preston is finally recovered and ready to get back to his work family! He recently received his new truck so this coming Monday he returns to service in T-20! We couldn’t be happier to have him back!!! Preston, we are all beyond thrilled to see you back to doing what you love and we all know how lucky we are to still have you with us!

Update to previous post:
Today at approximately 2:30P.M., we had a driver involved in a head-on collision in the Russellville, OH area. Both our driver, and the occupant of the other vehicle, were airlifted from the scene of the accident. The location and condition of the other driver is unknown at this time but we hear his injuries were not life threatening from those at the scene. That person is, and will remain, in our thoughts and prayers and we wish them a speedy recovery. Our driver was taken to the University of Cincinnati for evaluation and treatment.

We are amazed to announce that the preliminary report is that our driver has only suffered minor injuries and one broken bone in his foot. His medical staff is currently making the determination to discharge him tonight or wait until tomorrow, and that is based on pain in his knee. While he has been through a traumatic and severe accident, our driver, our family member, sure had the hand of God on him today in that truck! We as a company and as a work family, all want to thank you for your prayers you sent his way today! We know that prayer works and that hundreds, if not thousands, lifted him up today and we do thank you!

To those of you in this line of work, the safety chains on the trailer saved our drivers life today. The coupler broke and landed in the rear seat. The chains were stretched and the emergency trailer brake breakaway activated. We know that those things can be easily overlooked for proper connections and hookups, but please use your emergency safety devices as they are intended to be used and inspect them daily!

We would like to ask everyone for your thoughts and prayers for one of our own who was in a severe accident today. He was flown to University of Cincinnati but seems to be doing well considering. This is all the information that we can release at this time.

This is a very difficult time for our company as we lost one of our own yesterday. Josh Williams was with our company for several years and was one of the funniest and most lovable people we could have ever been blessed to have on our team. It is in times like this we know we are family, no matter if we are blood relatives or not. We still hurt. Please continue praying for our team, his family, and his daughter in the coming days. Rest In Peace brother! You are going to be greatly missed by many!!!
