SETTING THE SCENE: CREATING A SHOT LIST THAT SELLS ✨📸 Over the next few weeks we’re going to be taking a deep dive into all things creative production to give you all of the insider secrets to uplevel your next photoshoot or video shoot ✨ When it comes to creative photography + videography, walking into a shoot without a plan can feel daunting, especially when you’re working with a big team. Models, wardrobe, lighting, and timing all have to be accounted for before you can even think about getting creative! So, what are our top two tips? 1. Think about the time you have! Over-building or under-building your shot list without considering your schedule can lead to disaster. Be realistic about the time you have to shoot, and think about all of the little things that might eat up your time, too. Hair + MU, Wardrobe Changes, Lighting Set-Ups, and so on. We all know time is money when it comes to productions, and you don’t want to be the reason someone’s shoot day runs 2 hours over! 2. Tell a story. In every single shot, think about your framing + posing of the model, products, and props and how that is going to create the message or idea you want to sell to your ideal customer. It’s not as simple as capturing a pretty picture - shot lists with intention will get you to your final product faster than winging it. Trust us!
