RIP to a giant (literally and figuratively).

On the 10th tee with in L.A. and I see a massive figure chipping into the 18th green. I don’t get ⭐️ struck but I do admire history. I couldn’t tee off until I at least said hi but ended up with this pic.

What a memory! Every year we would end the season at Penn State and compete against up to 85 teams from all over the country.

In 2000 we finished 21st

In 2001 THEY finished 83rd (the team was taken from me)

In 2002 WE finished 7th (I got my team back) 😊

In 2003 we won it all!!! 🕺🏾(Pic above)

Every player I’ve ever coached played a significant role in making me who I am today but five of these ladies molded me in ways I really can’t articulate. .bagley, Meggie Kelly, & Abby Wilson took me under their wings as I took them under mine.

I’ll do my best in the book or movie to get the point across but without them I really don’t know the man I would’ve become. We often hear about the impact coaches have on players but if you ask most coaches they’ll probably tell you as I would that the players may have more of an impact on us! 🏐

Stage life!!

Let me first say thank you to for the support and push to help myself and to get off and rolling with the brand! I don’t know what the future holds but our gratitude will always remain.

Due to issues that transpired over the weekend the BAD brand will have to move around as we search for a new home. This creates some anxiety fiscally with hopes that the community will continue to support but we feel it’s the right thing to do.

Thursday I was honored to host Dominion Energy and the Library of Virginia’s, Strong Men and Strong Women of Virginia Gala. The event honors great African American men & women, past and present.

One of this year’s honorees is Hall of Famer Bobby Dandridge! In the script it only had “Bobby Dandridge.” While giving his acceptance speech, he hilariously gave me the business in front of hundreds of people because I didn’t introduce him as “Hall of Famer.”

After the event was over I went over to him so that I could let him know two things.
1. I didn’t write the script. 😆
2. I’m glad I didn’t say HOF (respectfully) because the moment it created was one none of us will ever forget!

was a whole vibe! The devil tried but was denied.

literally rocked the house. From soul to gospel to funk, he gave us exactly what we needed.

I also couldn’t ask for two better people to do this with in & . God knew what God was doing!

Big ups to everyone that blessed the stage. This has become the community we envisioned when we started four months ago. 🙏🏾
