Fun morale patch design I worked on for this year’s with
Went with a “Mars Attacks!” Jolly Roger concept. Very proud of how these turned out.
Back in March, I had the pleasure of being a mentor to a group of VCU students at who’s client was ⚾️ The student volunteers came up with a great campaign for Slyderz Baseball but they needed some assistance in creating the mascot to complete their mission. Enter Sylvester Slyder! A tongue-in-cheek nod to the name of the team using one of the most important elements of the sport.
An unused beer label design for Canon & Draw Brewing Company. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the launch of this new flavor was scrapped. But I really enjoyed collaborating with on this project. We came up with a really cool retro design that would have looked kick ass out in the wild.

New uniforms will be unveiled at a later date.
Just in time for the holidays! In collaboration with is this 2A Holiday Long Sleeve. This was a fun side project for their merch line. I think the gingerbread man bullseye is my favorite thing about it.
Recently worked with and to create a label for a limited edition medium roast coffee called, “Guns.com Bullet Blend.”
20 years. That’s how long it’s been since the 9/11 attacks in New York, Arlington, Virginia, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. It’s surreal to think that much time has passed since the day of those tragic events. It cost the lives of countless innocent people and first responders. Not to mention those who also survived and died in the years following from effects of that toxic dust.
I’ve always I had a small but personal connection to 9/11 because as a kid my grandparents and uncle lived in NJ and Staten Island, respectively. On our way to Elizabeth, we would always see the NY skyline outside the window off of the turnpike and my mom would point out the World Trade Center to me. I never understood why she put so much emphasis on me looking out that window. But within just a few years those towers would be gone. Needless to say, the skyline never looked the same after that and deep down I think her intuition was telling her something. After all, she watched those towers get built from her classroom in New Jersey. Maybe she’s always had a connection to it, too?
People around the world watched what happened that day. All of the emotions we felt could not be described. I can only imagine what the loved ones of those who perished have felt all these years later. But I vow to remember them and their family and friends they’ve lost. It’s important that we never forget.

Last month, Guns.com celebrated their 10th anniversary. I had the pleasure of designing a logo commemorate the event. It borrows elements from their own brand mark, as well as making reference to the rim and primer of a bullet, and the company’s upward growth as a trusted name in the fi****ms industry.
WORLD FLOORBALL LEAGUE: Revamping an old project here. First I’m starting with the league’s logo marks. The new batch are the first 3 slides and the original batch are the last 3 slides.
When I finished the original concept in January of 2020, I was pleased with the direction this was going. But realized I could have done more to totally finish the job. This upcoming series will aim to do just that.
It’s almost the weekend. Grab a handful of quarters, crack open a brew, and hit the lanes for some Skee-Ball❗️
Fun Fact: The game was invented by Joseph Fourestier Simpson and was patented in 1908 in New Jersey. The game was popular along the Jersey Shore during the 1930s and the nation’s best players would come and compete in Atlantic City.
I recently saw a highlight video put together by the New York Jets for Keyshawn Johnson’s birthday and spotted a gem at the 50-yard line of the old Giants Stadium. The logo had changed a bit from the 1980s into the 1990s. Being just a solid white silhouette of NJ to adding stars to various points in the logo. But ultimately it represented the Meadowlands Sports Complex, which is currently where the new MetLife Stadium sits. I saw one person try to recreate it but the quality was not so hot. I took this as an opportunity to resurrect this minimalistic yet beautiful emblem. However I put my own spin on it.
If you have seen my recent Instagram stories, I mentioned that I did a thing. Not a BIG thing. But it’s BIG to me. Last year was the 25th anniversary of the Richmond Renegades winning the Riley Cup championship, an event that helped foster my love of sports, and especially the Renegades greatly. But I didn’t quite do as much as I wanted to in order to celebrate with my fellow RVA hockey fans. I had to do something to commemorate the moment.
I decided to create a Ponderers logo last year that paid tribute to the ‘Gades. This year, I fashioned a jersey similar to their original style and colors. It’s not exact but it’s not meant to be either. This is my take on a Richmond classic.
Much like the original Renegades, I keep that competitive nature with me when working on assignments. I can’t help it. It’s a drive. I love design. I love branding. Each and every day I’m striving to become a better designer and more importantly a better person than I was the day before. It may be a weird way to express yourself to some. But it’s unapologetically me and I’m proud of it. Many thanks to Men's League Sweaters for this dope sweater.
What I want to leave you with here is to keep determined. Don’t quit. Always seek to improve yourself. Because when you bring your energy, spirit, and passion to the table. You never lose.
Been on a New York sports kick lately. Here is a logo exploration using current team colors.

New York Giants Rebrand - Phase 3: Secondary and Tertiary Marks
Originally I wanted to re-create an old logo but decided to interpret Giants as more than just a name. It needed to represent the landscape and its citizens. They are the REAL Giants of New York. Its citizens work hard during the week and cheer harder on Sundays!
So instead of designing another giant football player, I decided to create a portrait in the style of Art Deco. That style of art comes from a bygone era that included more than just flappers, speakeasies, and motion pictures. It also was known for its workers who risked their lives to construct astonishing skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and the Empire State Building.
The logo itself is of a strong, stoic football player, and incorporates a vintage leather style football helmet and eye black as a display of determination. The second logo is a re-imagining of a vintage Giants logo with an updated skyline and a large scale football. The third logotype also uses Futura like the second emblem. But includes a 1925 inside the football to represent the year of their founding. And finally, I have created another logotype using a fan-favorite nickname; G-Men.
New York Giants Rebrand - Phase 2: The Logotype
In putting this together, I decided to play off of the original Giants logotype. But I substituted the sans serif rounded font for a more stronger, bold, and geometric customized look. The letters are also connected to stay consistent with the new primary logo and create an even flow of form.
Last year during quarantine, I started a pet project to re-brand the logos and overall identity. But I wasn’t satisfied with the work months later. So I decided to revisit this project to see what I could come up with.
One of my favorite logos in their history debuted in 1975. But after one season in-use the Giants scrapped it when they moved to New Jersey in favor of a more neutral logotype. However prior to the 2000 NFL season the New York Giants reverted back to their lowercase NY logo. This was met with controversy from fans in New Jersey feeling unrepresented as the team played in the Meadowlands.
My idea was to take the past with the present to create a unifying look for the New York-New Jersey market. This problem was solved by joining the N, Y, and J together. Creating a symbol of connectivity between New York and New Jersey.
Over the course of the next few posts, I will be unveiling a series of logos and logotypes that I believe speak to both the history of the New York Giants and the fanbase that supports them. Enjoy Phase 1.
On this Memorial Day, I honor the memory of those who have lost their lives in the line of duty. As well as those who served and are no longer here. Let us reflect and remember them with reverence and respect. And may the torch that bares the flame of their life and legacy never be extinguished. 🇺🇸
I recently worked on a project called WellAWARE. It is a coalition sponsored by UVA, the Charlottesville Free Clinic, and Central Virginia Health Services. Their program focuses on community health workers who help to address inequities and place-specific barriers to good healthcare within their own neighborhoods and communities.
My goal was to create an identity that would display togetherness and cohesiveness. The first emblem is the one they ultimately chose. But I had other options I created that were also pretty cool. Feel free to skim through the carousel and ask questions if you like. Thanks for viewing!
