Arson Studios
Glass Art Glass beads, sculptures, goblets, ornaments, marbles, and more. Also offering lessons in lampwork for small groups of 1-3 students.
The ornaments I made during my Refract demo time at BARN. These and many others will be available to purchase during the BARN Bazaar in a few weeks (or message me direct if you'd like to purchase anything sooner in person or for shipping - note that if we don't know each other and you need items shipped, I'll set up a private sale through my Square store to handle the shipping and protect us both against scams).
Student results from the pumpkin class I taught yesterday at BARN.
Winter is coming! Come make some icicles with me.

So much cool glass for you to come see in the gallery!
Preview of the kinds of things you can see today during Refract at BARN - Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network !
Today's the day! Come see cool glass, meet artists, watch torching demos, try making your own glass art! (And maybe hunt for some of the hidden marbles we've posted in those other groups)
WA State locals and Refract visitors!
The marble hides have started! Join the search by checking the World's Biggest Marble Hunt facebook group and/or the Marble Hunt - Washington State facebook group to see all the hides and get clues for where to look. New hides tomorrow and Saturday too! Each hide includes a marble made by me and one made by Grae Drake, Executive Director of BARN - Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network. We hope you'll join us on Saturday afternoon for the Refract open house at BARN and maybe check out some other Refract events too.
More ornaments!
Results from torching yesterday - a few more ornaments to stock up for the BARN Bazaar in November, and new kind of marble I learned from Josh Beach while at Glass Stock a month or so ago.
Ok, I've been meaning to get around to this for years now, and I think we're close enough --
I finally have an online shop. I'm still getting items added (there are LOTS more things I could still post), but there are enough things posted to put it out there for public consumption. I've had some technical difficulties with the hosting service and the DNS forwarding, so please let me know if you encounter any issues and I'll work on getting them fixed! As always, you're also welcome to just contact me here or via email if there's something you'd like to buy or that you're looking for that isn't in the shop.

I know that link used to bring you to this page, but now it should go to the shop. I hope...
This guy went to his new forever home today! Yes, it's another collab with Road Runner Forge :)
It looks like a lot of twisty cane, but its only enough for 1-2 dozen "candies" so I'll probably end up having to make more.
Today at BARN, getting signed off on the sandblaster so I can use it for getting cool matte finishes on glass things!
I'm super excited this is happening!
BARN - Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network will be part of the big Refract glass art event based in Seattle. There will be a glass focused open house at BARN. I'll be one of the artists providing demos in the flamework studio and I'll probably have some pieces on display in the show. Come check it out. There will be some hands on activities too if you want to try making some glass art!

A couple of students' results from my marble class at BARN on Saturday.
Taking this photo on a white background was maybe not the best choice. But anyway, I verified I still remember how to make coronaments. Now the question is how many to make. I've got a new customer base here, but maybe people are over this?
It's my favorite season - football and grinding out ornaments!
