“Day Tripper” is such a dreamy blend of greens, pinks and yellows ~ to me it feels like a warm spring morning walking through a field of wildflowers🥲🐝🌸🍃 I have a small handful of this blend left🧚

A look at a handwoven blanket I created for our motorhome 3(?) years ago just before trip along the coasts of California🌲🐝🌙🧚✨

“Imagine” has also been reformulated from last month. I am so happy with how dreamy the combination of blues and the depth of color and contrast turned out🦋🧚✨

“Come Together” was the perfect opportunity for me to add my favorite color combination to this collection. I love purples and greens together, an uncommon color pairing but one that I think goes together so well🪻🍃✨

“In My Life” turned out so, so beautifully. I was inspired by what the earth looks like from space, thinking of how we are all sharing this big, beautiful world and experience our lives in the same space even if we’re far apart🌎🌍🌏🌲🍃

“Here comes the sun” was another fun one to design. As someone who’s not a huge lover of yellows, I wanted it to be warm and inviting without being a flat color. I absolutely adore it, and the pops of silk are going to be so beautiful and effective in the finished yarn!🌞✨

“Strawberry Fields Forever” was a fun challenge to design. I really wanted reds and greens, but didn’t want anything Christmassy and definitely didn’t want it to muddy when spun. The greens in this blend are all added recycled sari silk, which will create beautiful pops of color and texture against the shades of red when spun up!

“All you need is love” has been reformulated for more depth of color including dusty, baby pinks and deep magentas🌸💗

“Twist and Shout” is a mixture of deep violets and navy’s, with pops of orange and pink silk🍊🌷 The beautiful thing about having the contrasting color as added silk is that the colors won’t muddy when spun🦋✨

This was such a fun project with so much thought and love put into it, seeing them all together like this makes my heart sing🌞🌸💗✨

This month has been so crazy that I haven’t even had a moment to photograph and share my new rovings with you! Here’s a quick snap of the full collection of colorways inspired by The Beatles songs ~ soft, silky and textured beauties!!! Everyone who’s able to join me for todays live sale will be the first to see these close up and be able to purchase, then I’ll be spinning the rest of my samples and properly photographing them for an online update next month.

Always a favorite, but I especially love how the super light pink and green pair with the deeper, dusty pink and green in these batts🍃🌸✨

Just found out it’s going to be 120F (49C) here next Saturday😵 I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such an intense heat, not even when I was living in northern Australia!!! If I keep creating cooler toned blends will it help me escape the heat?!? Haha!🫠

I think I’d spin this batt as a simple 2-ply and let all of the texture and contrast speak for itself💭🌀🧶🌀✨

Look at the added whimsy those beautiful locks give to the batts!!! Ohhh my goodness, it’s gonna be hard to part with these🤩🦋🐑💫

These curly clouds are a new offering I’ve been working on ~ soft fluffy Wensleydale locks that have been fluffed up before and after dyeing to create this beautiful puff of texture! I’ll have one of each available at the end of the month🐑🤍🌈✨

The results of my first hand spun then hand dyed yarn! The colors remind me of a flowering cactus💚🎨🌷🐑✨

I’ve been back to the dye pots, this time with some beautiful hand pulled Wensleydale locks! Such a fun and free texture to use in your art yarns or needle felting🪄

Look at the beautiful crimpy texture the added corriedale fleece gives to this batt! Soooo lofty and squishy, it’s going to be an absolute dream to spin💚🌷✨

I’ll have lots of batts and rolags available on the 30th🎨🖌️

Yesterday was a fun day of play and experimenting! These yarns are going to be hand dyed and the singles will be lightly felted. These were spun using my all time favorite breed Rambouillet ~ it’s such a plush and lofty wool that’s perfect for creating squishy and thick art yarns!🐑🤍✨

My very first yarns from April 2021, to some of my most recent! I knew from the moment I started treadling and drafting that this craft was connected to me in so many ways and would be something I’d fall so deeply in love with. I am so grateful to have found this virtual community where I can share my love for of fiber with like-minded people🥹💗

It’s been 100+ degrees here in California, and cooler weather and colors have been at the front of my mind! This is an extra beautiful scrappy batt with silver and blue sparkle running throughout🤍🦋✨

There seems to be a theme amongst the handful of items I have left! I love how all these pretty pinks turned out, they’d make some beautiful 2-plys or supercoils🌷

THANK YOU!🌞🦋🐌🌀🌻🎶 I tried so. hard. to get a nice photo with the packages this month but they were just falling everywhere and wouldn’t stay stacked so this was my best effort🤣 I then realized I had a group of packages in one of my tubs that I forgot to bring out for the photo!!! Slowly making my way through tracking numbers, some were sent across today and the rest will be sent over this afternoon and tomorrow💗
