Senator Washington’s 9th Annual Palmer Park Block Party & School Resource Fair on Saturday, July 27th from 11:00am – 2:00pm at Park View Baptist Church (7900 Oxman Rd, Landover, MD)

This year, we aim to provide 300 backpacks filled with school supplies for local PGCPS
students.

We are still in need of donations!

Juneteenth has become an important day of remembrance and celebration in the United States. It is a time to reflect on the struggles and achievements of African Americans throughout history and to continue the fight for racial justice and equality.

Please join us for our 2-part hiring event, the first occurring on November 9th at PGCC’s Culinary Arts Center Room 121 and the second on November 15th at Sarvis Cafe, 5711 Sarvis Ave. Riverdale, MD 20737. The event is from 10am to 4pm both days, at both locations.
Those interested are required to bring a hard copy of their resume and two forms of identification and/or a work permit if needed to work in the United States!
We look forward to seeing you both days and to meeting those interested in person!
