2012 CHAMPION RELAY TEAM: Says Ray Soto Jr. who hopes to defend the title this year, "My dad (Ray Sr.) is a 79 year old bike racer who still stomps on most guys less than half his age. I'm a 54 year old competitive weight lifter who will take up the swim leg of this event. Even though I swim like a boat anchor, I'm hoping my young ace, Talal, will give us the edge with his spectacular 15 minute 5K run. Talal is 24 so that make our team age total 157 years old...... Yea buddy!!!"

Friday is the last day to pre-register on Active.com. Race Day Registration and packet pick-up begins at 6:00 a.m. at Bobby Bonds. Start time is 8:00 a.m.
